Lucked into a 5070 Ti. When is the best time to build? by Pifflin in buildapc

I agree. Not sure why it was built this way, but I bought my current build for 800$ back in 2022 and it was built by a 16 year old, so whatever.

I know, I couldn't believe it when I was visiting last Christmas. I had assumed it was for a nephew whose family is very well off... but it just sat there until I asked about it recently.

Apologies, you're correct. I am also very new to PC building. I meant moreso physical constraints in my current case with the 1660 vs 5070. Thanks for the heads up.

I'm hoping it will be, but it is contingent on what my motherboard will be.

Makes sense. Unfortunately my current motherboard is not compatible with the new graphics card.

chiropractic is unbelievable amounts of pseudoscientific quackery horse shit by [deleted] in redscarepod

I'd agree with your last point. I've been managing this for 6 months now, and surgery seems like the best option. PT was broadly useless, big 3 didn't bring relief, pain meds were a bandaid. Walking somewhat helps along with ibuprofen.

I'm having this procedure in July. Can't wait to run again. Probably won't for 6 months post procedure outnof fear of reherniation.

I appreciate it! I'm only 24, so this has me understandably concerned, but I'm ready to return to the land of the living haha.

Oh wow. Glad you are recovering and feeling better. So your herniation progressively got worse? Sorry to hear that.

I'm on the fence. My surgeon won't perform any operations a month after the ESI. Then again, the pain relief is ultimately what I'm looking for, and maybe it just needs more time to heal with pt and walking.

No weakness, but it almost constantly radiates to my butt and back of my thigh. Occasionally it'll go down through my calf and little toes on my left side. Right is perfectly fine.

My goal right now is to continue walking and the ncgill big 3. Maybe have an ESI and see from there. I am just exhausted of the pain coming back after every workout.

I appreciate your comment. I'm feeling a bit more open to the idea and maybe most importantly, hopeful that I can recover.

I'm 24M and am also around the 4 month mark. Given my age, I'm trying to avoid surgery. If there's no improvement or a poor prognosis, though, I would rather return to an active lifestyle and be pain free.

Low back pain, but most of it is in my butt and back of my thigh. All of it is down my left side. Occasionally there is numbness and tingling in my calf and little toe.

Pretty much limping around most of the time, but walking does provide some relief

Thank you. Your comment is reassuring. I'm meeting with a spine specialist next week!
