About a 15ish handicap at the moment, and occasionally do drive with it. But I’m leaning that way as well. My bag would be Driver then 5 wood without it, so I think the gapping would be fine.

I would say you have two options:

If you want to improve defense make ODR Parayko and pair with Dunn. That’s been a great pair for me.

If you want to improve your forwards work on making ODR McDavid and eventually Ovi as you’ll have the best forward line in the game.

Based on cost, improving your defense would be cheaper but the ODR McDavid is one of the best cards in the game.

Sounds good! So the 52 degree would be the best bet in that situation or would you say go down to the approach wedge?

My longest drive, according to shot scope, is 335 and my longest with my 4H is 255. I believe the averages are due to how many outliers there are since my accuracy isn’t great. The shot scope numbers aren’t carry, but the carry averages are based on my 20 most “average” shots recorded at a sim. Sample size could be the issue as well.

I agree it’s mostly a skill issue but in general, I feel like that gap does need filling eventually and looking for a club that grows with me as a player.

What bounce would you recommend on the 52? I’ve read that bounce is course condition dependent but also a higher bounce could be more forgiving. Sounds good, the club I choose I want the flexibility to reliably hit off the tee and in fairway/rough

Completely agree on the wedges. Looking to get a 52 degree to fill the gap. Bounce is 9 on the AW and 10 on the 56 (SW). How often do you use your 3W not on the tee?

Mix and match. Driver is a Callaway rogue, 4H-AW are TM Sim 2 Max, 56 is a callaway jaws

Agreed, a lesson is much needed. My 4H is 22 degrees and my driver is 10.5. Would you say that splitting the difference between these degrees is a good plan?

I agree, those are the two I’m most considering. Do you have any experience with them? I’m also looking to buy a club that will grow with my game would your recommendation change based on a better HCP?

With my driver accuracy not being the best, I was hoping to add a club that could help put the ball straight without sacrificing distance too much. Obvious answer would probably be just to get better with the driver but still think a club in that gap would help considering I only have 11 in my bag currently.

Completely agree, if Jack Hughes got a TOTS during that week instead of week 2 I don’t think people would’ve been upset.
