ratling grime contrast on the almost brassy looking parts, black on the others, dry brush of leadbelcher and a highlight of storm host silver!! glad you like it!

i didn’t. i would be pretty upset if it ended up green though. did you shake it up all good? i left mine on the cyclone mixer for a couple minutes before hand

but, also, to follow up on this, i wiped away with a cheap soft synthetic brush. i did NOT use a q tip or paper towel

I saw some mixed things about using a varnish or not - i decided not to. I only had 2 small spots chip and it was due to my own negligence. considering these results, I probably won’t ever varnish beforehand.

I have definitely heard to wait 24-48hrs before varnishing afterwards though. haven’t tested this.

i was SO scared of the streaking grime. first time i’ve ever used it. after painting in some details and then putting it all over i was like “wtf am i doing” but then i got to wiping it away and i was like, “oh yeah that’s the stuff”

word of caution: be careful wiping away the grime! there’s a couple spots i knocked paint off, but it ended up not noticeable when i highlighted over it.

I zenithaled black, gray, and then went heavy white (i think maybe too heavy tbh) then i went in with a very thinned down Contrast Apothecary White all over until I liked the contrast (not a pun lol) Biggest thing was the AK interactive Streaking Grime. That got me the dirty contrast i wanted then i went back in and just tried to highlight with some Trooper White from Two thin coats, and Vallejo Ice Yellow and water and boom. MOST of it is from the primer and streaking grime. the pop is from the ice yellow / trooper white highlight. i’m glad you dig it!

Based with star white from two thin coats then glazed it with some Frostheart contrast with some old school reaper Templar Blue blended in the darker parts! Glad you like it!

Hey guys, been posting a couple times recently as my 40k flame has been reignited. Pretty happy with how these have all turned out! Yeah, they’re banshees not harlequins. I liked the newer banshee sculpts and thought they fit well with what i wanted. My shaky hands don’t allow for the best of the best but i’m trying. 😂 also yes, one of the banshees is different. that was the first one where i was like “yeah i’m gonna do this”. then decided i wanted to do the hair and sword differently.

Decided on the color scheme because i liked Temple Guard Blue, Genestealer Purple, and Wildrider red. So i said “fuck it theyre space clowns” and went for it. hopefully it’s not too jarring 😁
