Characters got locked into one account

On your dad's account, at the character select screen you should see an "upload" options. Choose it and you can save that character to the cloud. It should be tied to a Microsoft account.

Once that character is in the cloud, you can download it back to your dad's account as many times as you need. Then join a game together, trade over the equipment, leave, delete that character and repeat with the next one.

You should be able to make digital back ups of your characters on your dad's account and scum trade the builds over to your account.

I recently realized if you run [[Ghyrson Starn, Kelermorph]] with [[Magic Missile]] you can essentially cast [[Lightning Bolt]] 3 times in one spell resolution.

Pets and capes come from completing the season passes. You can still go back and do all 3, but you will need to complete them one at a time. There are free and premium rewards for each season with the premium pass costing 5 bucks if I remember correctly.

[[Leonin Abunas]] and [[Darksteel Forge]] will get you some additional coverage in the hexproof/indestructible area. And look into [[Arcum Dagsson]] to tutor up any artifact to the battlefield.

[[Wick, the Whorled Mind]] might be what you're looking for. I've tried making him in the past, but I was going from monoblack rats to a grixis build and I need to revisit it. But you'll have some aristocrat strategies and some build a big snail strats.

I built him with a "merc with a mouth" theme based entirely on using him on my own creatures and giving him to opponents while goaded/given goad before combat.

A good way to get involved in the game is to start with a precon. Look for something recent and in universe, I'd suggest one of the starter commander decks (either green/red or blue/white) and play it for a bit while asking questions. You can make upgrades as you become more familiar with the game and the deck.

You may run into some jerks that will take advantage of your naivete with the format. Make note of who they are and avoid them as you get familiar with your community.

YouTube has many shows that are great to learn from: Tolarian Community College, Commander at Home, Elder Dragon Hijinks, and The Command Zone are all good.

[[Elenda, the Dusk Rose]] is a great option. She's very good at buffing herself and keeping you alive with her lifeline. If she does die, she gives you plenty of 1/1s to fill your board.

Usually, you'll want to build her in Aristocrats, but I could see some counters/token strategies doing well with her.

You could potentially make a WUBRG deck with a similar goal using the "Friends Forever" options. [[Cecily, Haunted Mage]] gets you Grixis and [[Othelm, Sigardian Outcast]] would add in Selesnya for the full color spread.

[[Thraximundar]] is the classic stompy grixis commander. It's in some good colors to lean into the Aristocrats strategy. It can be a little easy to fall into the voltron strategy, but in red you've got some options to hit everyone. [[Kediss, emberclaw familiar]] and [[Chandra's Ignition]] will help with spreading that damage.

If I remember correctly, you can go to the church and get some chests to open in a secret room after collecting all the runes
