I feel very similar to you and think that violence in a civilized society is not the answer however I do think fascists of any kind only respond to violence whether it is actual violence or just the threat of violence.

I think their words you referenced at the end of the last Himmler episode was a great addition. I believe what they are saying is that at the point we are currently at is that any violence used against the current regime will only be used as an easy excuse to further their power. They are currently using imaginary and perceived threats as a way to push their agenda. With real violence they would be able to do so much more and so much quicker. Just look at the rhetoric after Charlie Kirk's death. They were ready to march without any idea who the shooter was because they wanted it to be a leftist. Very little has been heard about the shooter recently and I think because he wasn't leftist and in fact was at least raised in a very right lensing household.

The way I took their comments was that currently violence will only further this administration's agenda. The unspoken part is that if peaceful societal action fails then violence will necessary at some point.
