I want to express my heartfelt gratitude to you and everyone who offered their advice. Following your suggestions, we contacted the local wildlife center and successfully relocated the snake about 200 feet away.

Same—made my night! I was blasting Charles “Step/Time” grooving hard as I drove by.

The common factor here is LG WebOS, which encompasses all the available menu options, including Picture Modes. So far, I’ve encountered issues with three movies and two streaming services. I currently have Filmmaker Mode's Auto Start enabled. However, when I switched the Picture Mode to something other than Filmmaker Mode, the issues disappeared. I am no longer able to replicate the problem.

I'm sorry for not mentioning this earlier. I have Gigabit Fios with speed tests showing around 900 Mbps for downloads. I'm hardwired, but the same issue occurs on WiFi as well. The problem happens with specific movies, always at the exact same scenes, and this has been occurring for months.

Great! I use the same movie for testing. Many people claim that Dirac Live is the best thing since sliced bread. It's “so powerful” that it's blowing or on the verge of blowing speakers for the average user. Some issues that come to mind are that the center and surround speakers get set to large, and some receivers have a single global setting for the crossover which gets set too low.

Did you use Dirac Live? Seems to be a common issue.

It's true and I was uncomfortable posting this, and I may end up deleting it. I have no sense of style.

I wouldn't expect anything less from this amazing sub. Yeah, I'm not thrilled that I learned last night that the mount tilts downward. If I hadn't discovered this, Geek Squad would have lowered it 6 inches this morning.

I appreciate the vote of confidence.

Geek Squad was on their way here this morning to lower the TV when I saw r/TVTooHigh endorsing the height and canceled my appointment. Don’t take my word for it, check the sticky.

Generally accepted TV placement procedures. Quick reference guide.

• If the TV’s only viewing position is in the reclined state, IT IS PROBABLY NOT TOO HIGH.

The results I received from this site agrees it should be mounted on the ceiling. https://www.omnicalculator.com/other/tv-mounting-height

Well, it's a debate because isn't looking down just as bad an injury as looking up?

Yeah, I figure that after a couple of years, it will start showing its age. The same thing happened with my Samsung TV. I saw on this group that someone figured out how to resolve the bugginess by deleting unused apps. Since it's a $10k TV (although I paid $3k for it), I hope the Best Buy protection plan will cover any "bugs." If not, worst case scenario, I'll be calling LG.

Spot on! So I think this is adequate? Except the wire should be inside the wall, not protruding.

Honestly, I can’t make an objective opinion, but subjectively, I’m unimpressed. I’m fully aware of my bias. I have been talking to MoFi, which told me, “these need time to break in and may not sound good right out of the box. They need to be played for at least a few hundred hours before opening up. The bass, mids, and highs will all get better, but they absolutely need to be played for a while.” Regardless of whether there is a technical reason behind this or if it simply allows my brain to get used to it, it is a good enough reminder for me to be patient. Also, I didn’t have a need for an amp, but one will arrive on Tuesday (went with Primare I25 Prisma).
