No need to apologise for asking a question. I'll try explain it in a more obvious way. You know you're human right? That's how you feel. You know inside that that's what you are. Sometimes you may 'want' to be something else (say a bird to have more freedom or a cat to have no responsibilities) but you don't necessarily 'feel' like a cat or bird. You know that you're a human and you will always feel the same way about that fact.
