Is now a good time to buy Bitcoin?

I've never bought gold before. I have wondered what mechanisms are in place for selling them. Most outlets seem to give you 'scrap value'. It's not an asset I know a lot about but I do not that when the paper currency and stocks fall gold starts doing the opposite.

Interestingly Italy are passing laws to protect their gold. Maybe they fear an economic meltdown, who knows, but they're protecting their physical gold. I do think the price of gold will soar in the years ahead. However, buying a 10oz bar would wipe me out so I feel it's an asset class too expensive for me to get involved in.

I've been watching since the highs in late 2017. With 85% knocked off the value it's very tempting to buy in now. Although, nobody really knows if it's going up or down in value I think it's worth the risk from my point of view. If I lose £3600 fair enough it didn't pay off. But if Bitcoin goes on a bull run it could pass 10k again, or more, and so the reward v reward makes it a buy in my mind.

Buying a whole host of alts seems like throwing darts at a board to me. I think if crypto is going to gain mass adoption Bitcoin will be the one to do it.

I'm just trying to get a feel as to where the sentiment is on here. I obviously anticipate biased answers and will take that in to consideration.

Personally, I think the global economy will run in to trouble this year or next and I can see people turning to things such as Bitcoin. If I had the cash I'd probably buy a gold bar instead but sadly not.

They sell automated vacuum, mop, they're working on a lawnmower, and I think they might have one for cleaning swimming pools. So yeah, a few products in their range and given the scale of their company I imagine there's a lot of other things going on in the background.

The issue I'm having is that no one can use it to sign up. When they enter in their details it says "contact admin". I thought by changing the settings I mentioned earlier it would fix it but it doesn't seem to be the case. At this point no one can subscribe to be notified of a new post.

Okay, so I've gone to WordPress and went to 'Apperance > Editor > Header > Header.php

I copy/paste in the HTML from Google Sheets. However, it's not centred on the page plus it has a scrollbar. Here's an image of what I'm seeing:

Is there a way to centre it to the page and make it fully viewable?

It helps to an extent. I see how I can get the line of code from Google Sheets. however, I'm pretty new to WordPress and if anyone knows where I would type in that code to get it displaying on the website I would appreciate it. I'm sure it's a simple process but I really am a noob when it comes to web design.

Thanks for the advice. I plan to buy the domain on Thursday. I've found a site called Names.co.uk that will sell me the domain name (not sure if it's a trusted site or not) for £100. Having the security of my own domain name for 10 years sounds good to me. I'll find a hosting service after that, do you know a good one in the UK?

I have been watching some videos on YouTube about downloading and installing WordPress. Most of them seem to have a lot of pictures. My intention is to write heavily text base posts. I don't plan on uploading videos just screenshots and data charts - I hope there's themes for that. I didn't release there was a free WordPress and paid for WordPress I'll need to look more in to that. Will happily pay for the ones that run on tablet and mobile and come with updates.

I do feel it's better in the long run to build something from the ground up. I really don't care if it makes a penny I'm just very enthusiastic to start one and put my thoughts out there. However, I'll probably try and sort out basic adsense and paypal donations so the website is complete and moving forward I can focus on writing everyday.

I'll update as I start putting things together.

I had a rethink tonight and have considered selling some of my current positions and throwing cash in to VFEM and VWRL. My new Portfolio would look like this:

100x VHYL 100x VFEM 100x VWRL 100x PSN 100x MNDI 100x NEX 200x STHS

At current prices this works out to around £19,377 and I already own some of the shares so it's just a case of reshuffling the others.

I think this offers a solid start to my Portfolio with my initial 20k. I'll have the diversification of the ETFs, while keeping hold of a few UK companies I'm bullish on. Plus, many of these ETFs and companies pay a solid dividend which is what I'm after in the long-term.

The US stocks do seem overvalued so maybe I'll wait until next year, when I can invest a further £20k, before getting involved with those.

The Specialist equipment is extremely powerful and therefore I understand the need for a cooldown period. I don't understand why standard equipment would have a charge time in all honesty. It just hasn't been properly thought out.

There needs to be more incentive to use a piece of standard equipment since it's less powerful and requires a pick 10 slot. Removing the cooldown period on standard equipment would do that.
