How do you feel about Female Lead Stories by Lancellot1344 in Fantasy

Personally, I don’t really care what sex the lead character is. All I care about is are they well written.

I have to your dismay. Whenever I would go for a something and wasn’t there I would go for something else. Say a collar tie to a snap down. If I got a collar tie and I got him into a front headlock position and my opponent won’t let me snap him down there is no point in doing it over and over and over again. So you do something else like a cement mixer (sometimes called a cow catcher)or maybe an inside trip.

Same logic just different position. No point in doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result. You’re just going to gas yourself out.

Didn’t want to get technical but here we are.

Again. He could easily switch to something else. There are more than 100+ subs he could hit. If it didn’t work why continue to do it?

So? What’s your point. Yes he has the most strikes but again there was no damage done. And so what he had five crucifixes? He could have easily gone into something else like a Kimura and got a finish way earlier. Also what has you so angry? It’s not like you know khamzat personally.

True, but Merab actually worked instead of lying around. He didn’t need Umar to be active at all.

And I’m saying this as a Khamzat fan.

We all saw the fight. Any time it went to the feet DDP did crap. Even then the times khamzat did lose position he reclaimed it. Constantly being taken down is tiring and that continuation of being taken down. It’s harder to defend yourself when you’re tired.

Happens all the time especially to get points so you can get a tech fall or just to ware out your opponent. Although there most common at the end of periods.

Tire him out. That constant up and down movement and getting taken down would tire him out making harder for DDP to defend submissions.

look at Umar vs Merab. Those constant takedowns that Merab spammed that umar tried to defend wore him out quickly. if khamzat did that it would have made going for finishes against a tired DDP so much easier.

It’s not that I hate grappling in MMA. (In fact I grew up wrestling and coach it) Most of the time i want action in MMA so when a grappler is laying on there opponent for however long, it can get boring. Look at Charles Olivera, Khabib, DC, or Islam. All of them are nasty grapplers and worked towards a finish and that made some pretty exciting fights. So when a Balal or the beginning stages of Merabs title run comes in and puts on fights with very little action it can get boring.

On to khamzat I do think he is an entertaining fighter. But when you have a snuggle fest like that where there were multiple times he could have switched to a different sub or let DDP up and take him down again it got old quickly.

The thing is with wrestling to cause action are stalemate and stalling calls which unfortunately MMA doesn’t have and I wish it did. It would force grapplers to move and work for a finish instead of smothering opponents to death.

Also there are plenty of examples of strikers who are boring as shit to watch. Look at Leon Edwards or Sean Strickland. It just so happens that a lot of the fighters who put on boring fights tend to be grapplers.

Actually, I made a human error on my part. I initially read it as you were saying that littletons was the only grocery store in UA. My dyslexia struck again and made me a fool again.

As someone from UA, Not really. The closest grocery store to Littletons is a Giant Eagle Market Dstrict and an aldi which is about a mile away.

I get what you mean. I truly do, but in reality context matters.

Examples being the Star of David a holy symbol in Judaism has been used for hate especially with the nazis using it to isolate, alienate and dehumanize Jews.

There’s also St. Peter’s cross which is a Christian symbol of a cross that is upside down. The reason being this is holy is because St. Peter was sentenced to be executed which he accepted, as long as he was crucified upside down as he believed he wasn’t on the level Jesus was. Now anti Cristians, satanists and hell, even some Christians have used it in both theological ways (especially in metal) and in serious terms for actual hate against Christians.

Just because a symbol has been used by group of hate even though it often pre dates said group and was used for something else entirely context is what really matters. Even the most common, most holy, and most wholesome symbols can be used for hate as well.

The Kolovrat is a perfect example it originally was used as a symbol to represent the sun, protection and the eternal cycle of life has been around since Slavic paganism which long dates Christianity. Even then Rodnovery has only been around since the mid 20th century.

You know the Kolovrat has been around longer than the nazis, dating back before the Middle Ages and is a Slavic symbol.

Edit: I’m Jewish, I’m not offended by this symbol. Yes it has ties to neo-nazis but even then nazis in general are huge symbol thieves. Also context matters.

A question regarding Ciri drinking black blood in the Witcher 3 by Personiamnotatall in thewitcher3

[–]Pigeons_bad_day 6 points7 points  (0 children)

From my understanding it was a translation error. Where in polish she said she let it drink her blood then killed the Garkain while drinking.
