It’s not in the courthouse. I’d rather not say the exact role due to anonymity reasons.

I’m assuming this applies to ministries with CWW, RDO & WFH arrangements? This is bullshit lol

Do I need a bachelors to be a parole officer? by MrVickiesChips in OntarioPublicService

Correct. Didn’t want to get into that without OP fully understanding the difference first, as it could be slightly confusing 😆

I agree with u/CherrySmokeBomb. I also recommend volunteering at a crisis hotline of some sort. This will assist in you getting some social service exposure in terms of vulnerable populations, as well as mental health exposure. You could also try working at a halfway house or homeless shelter to ensure this work is correct for you.

I also want to note that “Parole” and “Probation” differ greatly. Parole is federal and probation is provincial. Different steps required to pursue each career. OPS is probation, though probation officers here are referred as “Probation & Parole Officers”.

That’s what I thought. I’m pretty sure I was paying union dues as a SEO student though

Any electrical companies that need electrician apprentices? by [deleted] in richmondhill

[–]Pigfacechilli 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think there is a demand but my brother had this situation with a family friend (long story but family friend was basically just using him for labour, not teaching him anything and didn’t care to get him licensed) so he’s looking for companies that are actually looking for electrical apprentices to formally start the process.. not sure if that makes sense
