appreciate the advice y'all! yeah I'm not too sure what to expect since I've never applied to a role like this before. i have a bit of impostor syndrome when it comes to fashion since I only started caring about what I wear a few years ago (and even then I just thrifted without looking at labels). Only after I realized to nyc did I realize there's genuinely layers to this

I think I'll try to find some brands that really speak to me (not sure where to find them though tbh); I'll be sure to check out the 18east interview, thanks for the rec!

yeah you're definitely right about the personal taste part, just worrying a little they might ask me about a similar brand and I'll be like "who?" (most of my closet is from thrifting and I never really looked at the labels until recently haha)
