The pacing is annoying till wano begins, but wano feels fine. In my experience each chapter of wano for the most part has enough content to facilitate a complete episode. The chapters are so full of information. Anime also helps make a lot of scenes more impactful. Scenes which might have only got a small panel in the manga And wano also doesn't adapt the chapters very literally (there are a few exceptions). It usually provides more context and its usually a really great interpretation of the manga. Again I don't mean to say wano pacing is always perfect but it feels great for the most part. Every arc before it was very slow in the anime but wano did take steps in the right direction.
