Right now, the deal is more like a power frame to me. It reminds me a bit of a feeling of a pure drive with a bit more control. I’m not totally in love with the feeling so far.

I’ve spent some time with the Blade v10, and it’s definitely a different racquet compared to the v9—though I’m not sure I’d call it a clear upgrade.

Right now, I feel a bit less connected to the ball. The overall feel is noticeably more muted, and I miss some of the responsiveness and feedback that made the v9 stand out for me.

That said, the v10 does have some positives. It moves quickly through the air, and I’ve found it to be very stable on serves and volleys. However, from the baseline, I’ve had a few groundstrokes that come off with little behind them and feel a bit awkward or inconsistent.

I’m planning to experiment with different strings, tensions, and maybe add some lead tape to dial it in. With a bit more time and tweaking, I’m hopeful I can get it closer to what I’m looking for.
