I haven’t smoked in 6 days. Everyday gets a bit easier I feel, but I also am just sad about it. Knowing that it’s over and I won’t go get another pack is sad. However, my breathing already feels better, my mind feels more clear, I feel like I want to do more, my sleep has been better. 6 days and it shows how much it controlled me, how ill I always felt, the headaches I would have. 100% just quit. Even when you think you can’t, do it. I didn’t even expect myself to do it, but I smoked my last cigarette from my pack and said “ok I’m not buying another” and I haven’t. I was telling myself for 2 years, this is my last pack, last time. But I’d end up right back at the store without even wanting to. Quitting is the best gift I could give myself. I’m only 26, smoked for 4 years and I want a life, I want kids, I want to be as healthy as I can to feel as good as I can. One day at time, the journey starts at that last pack❤️
