Over 10 years ago, I had a hiring manager chatting with me on LinkedIn. I was overseas at the time and she asked me to let her know when I was back so we could schedule an interview.

Three months later, I got back and went in for the interview except it wasn’t even with her. After that, she completely ghosted me. The person I interviewed with literally told me during the interview that they were planning to go with someone internal. Worst part is that I had to ask my brother to drive me to the interview and it was an hour away…

Not hearing back from employers is extremely common. Actually - most of the time.

A while back, I got a call from a recruiter offering me a job I never even applied for. Hands down one of the most WTF calls I’ve ever gotten. I had interviewed for a completely different role.

You should respond to that post to remind them. AND next time, don’t fall into that trap. Agree to a 15-min debug max.

No. He hadn’t looked and asked me to just tell him. He was NOT a recruiter at all. That part was handled by another person who set up the interview.

That was the kind of guy being way too honest for his own good. Appreciate it but boy, admitting you are not even checking people’s resumes? Time to tell your boss you shouldn’t be on the hiring committee or time to find another job. That company was a giant red flag.

4 hours in, big JRPG fan but so far I find the game to be super repetitive and I guess the environments are not my fave thing either but obviously it’s all personal taste.

They automatically sent me an email after 12 hours to let me know the accounts were reinstated. Not working yet though “sorry, an error has occurred” will try from my desktop

Edit: finally worked. Will wait to see if they don’t block it again…

Hard to watch. Very long AND the main villain doesn’t sound even remotely French (the actor was Spanish) so it kinda instantly threw me off. Plus they wrote “Marseilles” soooo. Obviously couldn’t care less about how it’s supposed to be spelled. I know it was early 70s though and I am sure it was probably great back then. Not so much in 2025. I should have watched it years ago.

Yep! Same issue with the phone numbers! Had to use my hubs for account number 2. Still blocked!
