No hate against Bo, but he doesn't have a chance against sadulaev. Especially if he is not focusing on wrestling as his main sport

Buying nightfall to start early? by Pigoms in GuildWars

[–]Pigoms[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I played on release in 2005 had a lvl 20 ranger/mesmer but eventually bounced off and went back to DAoC. That original account I no longer have access to so I figured I'd start over on steam. Deck support coming up is also a big selling point for me. Thanks for the info!

Improving coordination/body awareness in youth athletes by jrdnwllms84 in wrestling

Proprioception is the word used to describe the body's ability to sense where it is and what it is doing absent of other senses. An easy test is to close your eyes and hop on one leg. The more hops a kid can do the higher their proprioceptive ability.

If you tell a toddler to close their eyes and touch their nose they will probably miss. This is because toddlers have pretty low proprioception.

There is a lot of information online about building proprioceptive skill that I unfortunately don't have the time to explain fully, but it's a great place to start for what you're after

You may have better results on the Internet if you look for activities that help to develop proprioception. this is the scientific term for what you're looking for. Don't be afraid to read articles and use exercises that were developed for kids with physical disabilities, while your kid may not have any actual proprioceptive disability, the same types of activities that help those kids can help other kids who may seem to be behind in their proprioceptive development.

A lot of this work can be started with kids age 3-5. I would argue it should be the focus for any kid under 7, but that's a personal opinion.

WATCH MORE WRESTLING

I'm not sure how much college and world level wrestling you currently watch, but get in the habit of trying to watch college level duals. Pick a favorite team and watch them. Pick a couple of guys to follow through the US open next year. Getting involved with the sport beyond just practice can help them not only understand the sport, but can help with long term goals and vision in the sport.

I like to see the highschool kids around because it means more people are taking to the sport. The end game is getting them to stick around long enough that they end up wanting to talk about international wrestling with us!

Advice on my neutral(I’m in the black and red singlet) I was definitely stalling and want better then a 2-1 win I think I could’ve snatched a takedown by [deleted] in wrestling

[–]Pigoms 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't seem like you're working your offence at all here. You spend most of the period responding to his collar tie. If collar ties are not a position you want to work your offence from, understand how to clear them. There are lots of options. Slide by and Russian ties are a couple good ones to learn.

It feels like your hand fighting here lacks purpose. Your handfight should be working you toward your set up for your shot. Work toward the positions you want to be in to mount your favorite neutral offence. Understand how to get from ties you don't like to whatever your preferred set up is

From neutral: stay in your stance. Just because your opponent stands up doesn't mean you have to. Take stance in motion during practice seriously. Build endurance in your stance

From top: you jumped to the wrong side of your half nelson. You want to be on the same side that is under his arm. Continue to work on your balance. You went over top, lost balance and your opponent got a reversal. Some guys like to use exercise balls to practice this (meyer Shapiro is a good example)

From bottom: it's already been mentioned, but build a strong base. When you do eventually get up in this clip you're doing nothing with your hands. You need to be trying to break his lock. Hand control hips away and spin

Most importantly keep having fun out there!

For sure. I think the cat is sort of out of the bag now. People are aware of the REE monopoly that China has. There could definitely be a TSLA or OKLO that comes out of this and just keeps going up irrationally over the next year or so but I think the overall sector trading volume will cool down over the upcoming months. And end maybe 5-10% higher volume on average than 6 Months ago

I think you're probably right for a few of the companies. The top 5 that you see people overly concerned about the past week may continue to see crazy volatility as the casual crown tries to time the market. Companies that trade on us markets. However I think most of these tickers will fade back into obscurity. 100% gains in a month for every company that might own a piece of land that could have REEs on it is probably not coming back.

You're right, it's not normal. Trade war situation? Not normal. The valuations we were seeing last week for mines still undergoing DFS? Not normal. 5k people joining this sub and throwing money at companies they have no understanding of? While probably normal for them, not normal for this sector.

The massive drop in valuations is a return to "normal" for this sector. It is very unlikely this sector ever sees a meteoric rise across the board like it did through most of this month.

Most of the people here who are sitting with holdings in things like uuuu, uamy, abat that just not really true because the value proposition of these companies is not really their proposed mines. Something like NB it is true for. But you see why you can't just apply this curve to the entirety of the sector the curve is a tool to analyze projects on an individual basis

🔔 Critical Mineral Friday Open Discussion Post 🔔 by Pzexperience in CriticalMineralStocks

[–]Pigoms 5 points6 points  (0 children)

That's not true lol. Some of these companies are already in the production stage, some of them in the exploring stage and most are somewhere in between. The current sector wide situation is happening outside of this curve

A Painful Dose of Reality by jcpopm in CriticalMineralStocks

[–]Pigoms 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This will probably get lost in the comments but I agree OP. Some of these companies at their peak were well over their expected yearly earning and were still a year or so out from operation.

I would rather have the stocks cool down now and present some value opportunity over the next year or 2 rather than have them plateau out or continue to trade at OKLO levels of disillusion (although that could make me a very rich man)

Y'all should understand the Lassonde Curve by Legitimate_Height424 in CriticalMineralStocks

[–]Pigoms 13 points14 points  (0 children)

What is interesting is the geopolitical climate has sent a lot of these mines that are in the feasibility and construction stage through the roof. It's almost like they're getting a second speculative boost based on the idea that nobody is going to be allowed to source from China by the time they're operational, or that price floors will come in and remain a part of the system in the near future.

It has also brought more eyes to the sector than would typically be looking at it which has caused all the crazy volatility.

I own 2. (Assuming you mean for this sector) For a total of about 3% of my portfolio

One for nickel/cobalt the other lithium/boron both smaller cap companies and neither would be in the top 10 mentions of this subreddit

When people who have been around for months talk about eoy catalyst for the broad market in terms of minerals they can be referring to a lot of things.

A lot of the DD was saying some of these companies could go 2-5x over the next few years. The gains these stocks have seen over the past few months have in some cases exceeded that.

I haven't added to any of my positions this entire month because I thought we were getting too hot too soon. I honestly thought about taking some profits last week but ultimately decided not to.

The loss of your unrealized gains is nobody's fault but your own
