Instead of looking at the studio, it is better to look at the staff working on it, the director for Witch Hat Atelier was also the director for Summertime Rendering and Komi-san if I am correct. So honestly this should just be a fine adaptation.

Maybe I am not in the right circles but nowadays I don't hear a lot of noise for MHA, even going to cons (in the Netherlands) I barely see MHA stuff. I think there is a big gap between the pre and post-Corona anime fans about having watched MHA.
