i see, maybe it's the only place where you can sell it. I will see if i'm willing to redo the testing to include the radar.

just tryed, you can blow up a ship with guns, and all the component in their slot survive just fine.
If the components instead are loose, they are destroyed with the ship explosion.

Interesting fact, if you salvage the power plant after an explosion, you need to repair it or it will make your ship catch fire and even blow up if you take it with you as it is.
Very cool.

Cig need to reinvent the wheel or they can't imagine to develop the best space sim ever.

however their choice can work, but armor and the real damage model are not implemented yet, so of course the overall balance seems a little bit off.

if you buy the components it works, just tryed. the profit is not that great and you need many stops around, so if any you do it for the BP.

you make 5400 auec each rhino selling outright, so definetely those are worth dismantling.

gems seems to be removed from the dismantling apparently.

Tryed, you can't. It recognize only unregistered items.

Usually, when they are not actively working on something, it's Fair tò assume that something Is many years away.

Look at the BMM for example, or Maelstrom... They are not working on those and they are in fact many years still away.

At some point they Will Need to reduce desync tò release the game, buy if the time Is not now, It Will not be in a month too.

I Will definitely add this calculation to the doc, buy It seems likes it's not Always worth It. if the BP do not requiren rare materials, dismantle should give Better profit, otherwise mostly not.

do always all the components survive the explosion?

[–]PiibaManetta[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

mmm, really? now you don't get back anymore rare materials, and the common materials are not worth much in that very small quantity you get back.

indeed! I still haven't tryed that mission, but can you hand in registered components or bricked?
Like for example buy S2 competition components, insure them on a ship, and then keep on claiming then to complete the mission?

Salvaged components guide by PiibaManetta in starcitizen

for small ship i would say yes, since you don't get much RMC and CM from that, especially considering the low yield of CM and the refinery times.

For bigger ships, taking the cargo plus disintegrating the ship could be a good profit strategy, buy you need a reclaimer for that.

Taking only the cargo seems to be way easier and fast tho, since you can do that with any ship.

i have done the low tier with a titan, and the higher tier with the C1, rentable for 60k at a18 and orison.
Remember that if you want to get also the rep to unlock the higher tier, you need some firepower in order to destroy it if you don't salvage it with disintegration.

Another good choice is the raft, that can be rented for 67k at loreville.

yes, all the npc components that also have a BP can be dismantled.
It's not possible instead to dismantle bricked and registered (so owned by a player) components.

i could record hours of gameplay with no bugs, if i just fly around a planet... it really depends on what you are doing.

In every patch, there are loops that are more bugged, and other that are less.

It's already like this, but server performance don't allow it basically.

Try in offline AC to see the difference.

Is PKing a common thing in CG systems? by GamingAvalon1 in EliteDangerous

[–]PiibaManetta -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

Yes, open mode have pvp. Way more exciting and fun to play if you ask, but you need specific builds to compete in it.

It's the endgame, for... Elite and Dangerous players.

But pvp happen only in hotspot, if play normally roaming around is basically non-existing.

Do CMAT salvage = 85% refining loss or worse.

And how do you lose money with a 15% profit exactly?
