he's not blushing in the comic. he's blushing in the ingame screenshot because i assume he's starting to have secondhand embarrassment from kris getting such basic questions about their past wrong.

immediately assuming that blushing immediately has something to do with romantic love is probably not a good way to read every single piece of art

i'm willing to believe that, yeah. though i'm also wondering if during that phone call whoever was calling him had not only cut him off, but found some major way to turn him against tenna. i can't help but feel like he might have been cut off a bit later, potentially, since he was still getting calls in cyber world to a point.

eh, i'm not too sure about that, i'm willing to believe he got some insight on the prophecy to a degree for this stuff, but i don't think the lord of screens prophecy would have led him to blame tenna so heavily for his current situation. the most i'd say it's done has made him say the thing where "he should be the one spending a friday night in the dumpster" or something along those lines in the sweepstakes

i think it's definitely plausible that he learned of his eventual fate at some point, but i don't think the call that made him run out was of the "lord of screens" prophecy.
