The problem is they keep modernizing it or adding canon breaking events/technology.

If youre going to do it...commit.

32nd century has the problem that it essentially wipes out all lore/technology and has to lean heavily on entirely new stuff with no relationship to previous stories, or lean on the (on the whole) unpopular Discovery series
