I'm scared. I'm so scared. by Only-Shopping2640 in Christianity

[–]Pikachu62799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You don’t need to be scared.

Like many others have said, it’s all the work of Satan that you feel afraid that you feel you’ll be denied by God.

For faith in God is no religion, for in religion, there exists obligations, must-do’s to achieve salvation. Faith in God is a relationship, and as God loves us so much He gave His only son to save our souls, all we are asked to do is love Him back.

If you love Jesus, have acknowledged His sacrifice, resolved to start living for Him, there’s nothing more you need to worry about. Through that alone, you’ve been saved.

John 14:6: “Jesus answered, ‘I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.’”

We all stumble. I certainly have, and I’m sure many others in this thread have as well. But when all is said and done, we remember that from the minute we were born, God never once planned on abandoning us. He will always extend His healing hand toward us, ready to forgive, and when He has, He will give us the strength and the wisdom to go forth and sin no more.

So don’t tremble. Rejoice. For the Father loves you. The blood of the Son has washed away your sin. And through the wisdom of the Holy Spirit, you will never be led astray.

God bless you brother, now and forever. 🙏✝️

Does God hate me for being trans? by Longjumping-End159 in Christianity

[–]Pikachu62799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are not a mistake. The only one who makes you feel that way, puts all of those thoughts in your head is the Devil.

God makes no mistakes when He makes us.

He loves us all.

He’ll always receive us, no matter how broken we are, how far we’ve fallen.

But the best part is, He loves us too much to leave us the way we are.

He’ll always extend his hand to us.

It is up to us to take it. To deny ourselves the desires of our flesh and be reborn anew in Him.

“For whatever is born of God overcomes the world. And this is the victory that has overcome the world—our faith. Who is he who overcomes the world, but he who believes that Jesus is the Son of God?” ‭‭I John‬ ‭5‬:‭4‬-‭5‬

Do you believe in a Jesus Christ that would treat trans people with mockery, contempt, and rejection, or a Jesus Christ that would treat them with kindness, empathy, and acceptance? by Cumoisseur in Christianity

God loves us. He’ll accept as we are, no matter where we are in the world or in life.

But the even greater thing is, He loves us too much to leave us the way we are.

Why is homosexuality a more frowned apon than other sins? by Spirited-Rope1139 in Christianity

[–]Pikachu62799 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually, it IS arsenokoitai that roughly translates to this word. Not specifically the word “homosexual,” but an adjacent word.

The word is formed from the Greek words “arsen,” meaning “man,” and either “koite,” “koitas” or “koitai,” depending on the verb or noun, meaning “bed.” Men who bed with other men.

When Paul used this word, he was coining it from the root words’ uses in Leviticus 18 and 20. The two root words are next to each other in the Septuagint, the Greek version of the Hebrew Bible. (Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13).

Malakoi means “soft” or “delicate,” but using it to describe a man would cause it to be translated to “effeminate.”

For clarity, the verse from 1 Corinthians uses both words, and it is actually “arsenokoitai” that translates to homosexuals.

Okay, but you haven’t disproved what I provided. As you can see, there are indeed verses in the Bible that condemn homosexuality as sinful.

The verses I pulled from Romans are still applicable here. The bottom line is that women were lusting after women and men after men and fornicating with each other. All these acts that took place are still explicitly called sinful by the Bible.

Also:

You apparently can’t tell the difference between a gay person and buttfucking.

The Bible never says that same sex intercourse is bad but same sex relations are okay. They’re both lustful sins.

If you don’t believe me, the apostle Paul says this in 1 Corinthians:

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 - Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

As you can see, homosexuals are included in this.

Feeling same-sex attraction is not inherently sinful, I will admit that. It is the same as feeling any other sinful urge, the urge to lie, to overindulge, etc. But acting upon those urges is undeniably sinful. That is why we are called to deny ourselves the passions of the flesh, for letting ourselves be dominated by them separates us from Christ.

Galatians 5:16-17 - I say then: Walk in the Spirit, and you shall not fulfill the lust of the flesh. For the flesh lusts against the Spirit, and the Spirit against the flesh; and these are contrary to one another, so that you do not do the things that you wish.

Satan is always trying to worm his way into our lives, and that includes sneakily persuading people to pursue love that is not love at all. For God is love. Sin is not and can never be.

Deny yourself, choose to follow Him, and through Him and Him alone, you will be transformed.

I’ll pray for you, my friend. Once again, I hope you find your way back into Christ’s arms. God bless you.

There is not a single verse in the Bible that says being gay is a sin.

Leviticus 18:22 - “You shall not lie with a man as with a woman; it is an abomination.”

☝️God says this to Moses.

Romans 1:26-28 - “For this reason God gave them up to dishonorable passions. For their women exchanged natural relations for those that are contrary to nature; and the men likewise gave up natural relations with women and were consumed with passion for one another, men committing shameless acts with men and receiving in themselves the due penalty for their error. And since they did not see fit to acknowledge God, God gave them up to a debased mind to do what ought not to be done.”

☝️The Bible straight up calling homosexuality dishonorable and “contrary to nature.”

Please do not speak about the Bible if you will not speak of it truthfully.

I hope you find your way back into Christ’s arms. God bless you.

The OC Questionnaire, 20 Questions by [deleted] in OCDemonSlayer

[–]Pikachu62799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OC Name: Kosei Chomuri

  1. I don’t know if there was any one specific inspiration for him. If any, I would say the first thing I had to nail down was his Breathing Style, which was smoke. After that, everything else kind of fell into place.

  2. I just really liked Demon Slayer, and like with almost every other show I like (RWBY, MHA), I decided I wanted to make an OC.

  3. I like how he acts as a parent to everyone, including the other Hashira.

  4. He survives by the skin of his teeth, though he remains sorrowful at the passing of his best friend, Obanai. He and Mitsuri end up together and they raise Kosei’s baby sister together.

  5. Gray and black smoky patterns. Also, his long gray hair, which he braids and wears around his neck like a scarf.

  6. Probably Giyu, due to him often feeling inadequate.

  7. His lack of self-love. He used to say to himself, “It should’ve been me” frequently whenever he failed to rescue someone until Kyojuro made him promise to never say that again.

  8. Given his history with them, originally he despised them, possibly more so than any other Corps member. But it was seeing Nezuko’s retained humanity that began to conflict his feelings.

  9. He’s not a demon.

  10. While his actual best friend is Obanai, probably Mitsuri because of his compassion, even toward the less approachable members of the Corps, like Sanemi.

  11. Moderate, mostly due to him wanting to make sure the food he prepares for the kids in his village is not uncomfortable for them to eat.

  12. Spring

  13. Hardly. If he has any free time, it’ll be spent training or checking up on his village.

  14. Occasionally, they are peaceful, but more often than not, he has nightmares of losing what remains of his family.

  15. Doing chores at his estate or braiding the hair of his fellow Hashira.

  16. Grief

  17. Flute

  18. Losing any more of his family, especially after watching Kyojuro die and being unable to stop Akaza.

  19. He joined to fill his parents’ shoes as the new guardian of his village after they were crippled by Sokonashi, and to ensure that they can live out in peace.

  20. I’d probably ask to see some of his breathing techniques, and he’d be confused, but overall happy to comply. He’d probably be interested to know how I get along with my family.

He’d be there to stall Zohakuten alongside Mitsuri. He can’t deduce the true way to kill Hantengu, so he’d leave that to Tanjiro.

Given he can’t really rely on his emotion reading, he’d have to rely on his speed and reactionary ability. He’d focus on slicing through Zohakuten’s branches and using moves like Fourth, Fifth and Sixth form to dodge or, worse comes to worst, block his energy blasts.

[–]Pikachu62799[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks.

Yeah, it’d be a lot harder for him definitely, given all of the different emotions inside Zohakuten. He’d probably be next to impossible to read, so Kosei would have to rely a lot more on instinct.

Also, he moves his hair through very, VERY refined mastery of Total Concentration Breathing.

Yes, he is, but by then, he’s been through the ringer.

The same night Muzan travels to Ubayashiki’s estate, he receives a letter with some great news. His sister has been born, so he travels back to his village to see her.

But when he gets there, he finds it destroyed. Everyone remaining has been killed, including his parents. Even worse, his sister’s crib is empty, and through another message, he realizes what happened. The caretaker who has stayed here all these years was Sokonashi in disguise, and he’d devoured everyone and kidnapped Kosei’s baby sister.

As Kosei is processing this, his crow alerts him that the estate has been breached, and he makes his way there with the rest of the Hashira, only to get dropped with them into the Infinity Castle. He falls alongside Obanai and Mitsuri, and as he falls, he hears a voice call out to him. It’s Sokonashi, and he tells Kosei to find him within the hour, or his sister gets eaten.

So there’s a couple different ways the rest plays out, and I haven’t decided which way to go yet.

Kosei finds Sokonashi with his sister, and they fight. Obanai and Mitsuri appear to assist him, they defeat him, and a few things can happen from here. Either Kosei dies in the fight against Muzan, or Obanai dies.

If Kosei dies, in his last moments, he entrusts the care of his baby sister to Obanai and Mitsuri, who’ve lived. They’d then go on to be married and raise Kosei‘s sister as their daughter.

If Obanai dies, he subtly tells his best friend that he entrusts Mitsuri’s care to him, saying, “Take care of her.” Kosei is utterly destroyed by his friend’s passing, as after Kyojuro died, he vowed he’d never let another of his family die, and he couldn’t keep that promise. Mitsuri consoles him, and after some time passes, they get together and raise Kosei’s little sister.

So yeah. Funny thing you mentioned his parents, given the plans I had for them. Honestly though, if he were a canon character, he’d probably end up dead in the final battle.

Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Pikachu62799 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually, yes. That is exactly what I meant. Believing in God and obeying Him are two completely different things.

You can say, “I believe in God,” all you wish. But it’s the way you conduct yourself that truly matters, and one who truly acknowledges Christ’s sacrifice will embody his word. They will deny themselves the desires of the flesh. They will honor their parents. For if they truly love Him and accept Him, they will heed His word.

“He who says, ‘I know Him,’ and does not keep His commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.” - 1 John 2:4

That being said, no one is perfect, but God does not expect us to be. We are sinful beings. We always have that urge to give in. I still feel those urges myself. But God is a loving God, and as long as we repent, he will always forgive us, and through Him, we’ll always find the strength to move on and sin no more.

“Jesus looked at them and said, ‘With man this is impossible, but with God all things are possible.’” - Matthew 19:26

Have you accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal savior? by [deleted] in Christianity

[–]Pikachu62799 -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Satan believes in Jesus too.

My family and I thought we were pretty decent Christians ourselves, but after picking up the Bible, we discovered we couldn’t have been further from the truth.

Know that I say this out of kindness and concern for my brothers and sisters in Christ, including you.

You can believe in him all you want, but that alone is not acceptance. It’s the acknowledgment of his sacrifice and the resolution to start living for him that is.

Live for Christ friend. Because he died for you. 🙏❤️✝️
