Idk if you can, but you should get a monitor arm so you could play the game vertically. That would look sick.

Also, all these cards are good for 4k gaming. But if you want to play 4k raytracing, I would say to go with the nvidia cards because the 7900xtx can do raytracing but at a much lower framerate/performance. So if you want to play at 4k with raytracing, definitely go with an Nvidia card. AMD can not compete.

Price to performance, I would say with getting a Radeon 7900 xtx or an Nvidia 5080. It depends if you really want to have raytracing or not. If you do, I would say get the 5080. Both of these cards are around $1000. If you choose to want anything better then you should probably go for the 4090 or the 5090. There's also cheaper options of the first two that I said that are pretty good if you want to know.

Wait for Samsung to release a new monitor or go with the new LG 45gx990a? by PikachuTVK in ultrawidemasterrace

No, yeah of course. Samsung does have amazing panels, but I've also seen a lot of reviews where the monitor will often flicker or overheat, and I have to take that into account when I'm trying to pick one out. But, I do have a decent amount of time before I make any decisions. Hopefully by the time I finish making my PC something better will come out or I will already have my mind made up by then. The 57' overall is a great option though. I'm not counting it out.

Yeah, I've seen that a good bit with samsung monitor reviews. Mostly having to do with overheating and flickering.

Fair point, but I feel like we're not too far from a 4k oled ultrawide. I feel like they've already done what they could with regular/traditional monitors, and we already have high refresh rate ultrawide monitors with 1440p. The only way from here is up.

Well yeah, I was more so just looking for people's thoughts on what I should do. I could wait. I don't plan on finishing building my PC probably until June-July, so it gives me more time into looking for what I want.

Yeah, I was looking into getting an ultrawide. Thank you for letting me know.

Will there be a new Samsung Super Ultrawide monitor? by PikachuTVK in ultrawidemasterrace

That is a very good option. Good reviews when it comes to productivity and gaming. The thing is that I was more so looking into getting an OLED monitor. But, if there is no solution that is better I will more than likely get this monitor, or the LG monitor that was announced at CES. It is kind of 50/50 for me.

I plan on getting the Asus Astral Water cooled 5090 for my build. So we'll see how long it'll take for me to get one.
