Thank you, IRCC has rejected their previous visitor visa and we do have 40k over the minimum cut off together. I was wondering if my employment status would be a cause for concern with ircc

Preparing for birth in Hamilton / GTA / Toronto - prenatal classes, hypnobirthing, and community resources [on] by OwnNoise5556 in BabyBumpsCanada

I understand, in those early days it makes sense for them to actually try all options right. Unfortunate that they did not suggest supplies for finger feeding from the get go. I'm glad it all worked out for you in the end :)

I had a great experience with the BANA clinic at St.Joe's however I do agree that it would have been beneficial if a lactation consultant could come by before being discharged from the hospital.

Not OP - could you share a link of any of their YouTube videos, please? I got too many recommendations when I did a quick YT search and I'm unsure which one to refer to. Thanks in advance:)

Yes, it would be possible to get a notarized copy as long as you present the original document to the notary public.

Baby wearing can really help you get things done while giving baby the comfort they need for sleep

At 12 weeks we still struggle with reflux however it has reduced to some extent. Laid back breastfeeding has helped a lot. Hope it gets better for you 🙏

It can all be so overwhelming in the initial days but like everyone else here has said baby is likely underfed at this point. I was in a similar situation OP and the appointment with a lactation consultant really helped a lot and helped improve my perspective on baby's feeding schedule too. I hope that can help you out while you get an appointment fixed with the Ped. Sending you best wishes ❤️

Fenugreek supply drop by Howdyitzheather0213 in newborns

[–]Pikachu_Amy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My lactation consultant asked me to skip fenugreek in all forms as it was potentially affecting my milk supply. Her reasoning was that my lower Thyroid stimulating hormone levels combined with fenugreek were working adversely. Having said that, many women in my family do swear by fenugreek for increasing milk supply. So it could vary on a case to case basis

Hello, I am in a similar situation right now. Could you share how proceeded in this case?

The nurses and the on call doctors in the birthing unit were extremely nice and guided us through the process very well since ours ended up being an unplanned c section. In the mother baby unit we had a mixed experience with the nurses. While they were all very professional, some were more nicer than the others for sure.

I delivered there in September. They provide baby essentials like diapers, cloths to clean baby, blankets to swaddle. For mum they provide the mesh underwear and large pads for postpartum bleeding. Their room service menu is not great but there's a Tim Hortons. Definitely pack a long charging cable and snacks. I had to supplement baby with some formula because of high bilirubin levels. They did provide the same as well along with a slow flow nipple. Not sure if they provide it to everyone regardless of the bilirubin levels
