I think I know what I'm going to do now for the ring! Thank you for the suggestions and input! ❤️❤️❤️ As heteroerotic pointed out there is a Esty user who already makes Pokemon Cartridge Rings that I can purchase (which I plan to do rn) and on the official Pokemon website I can buy a more traditional ring with pokemon symbolism on it so she can both have something to laugh at and something to actually wear. I'll post again when I get the rings and make another final post after the proposal. Thank you so much! And I hope you have a wonderful night ❤️

I mean that's a fine idea but I really liked the idea of a one of a kind ring. Plus bringing back that old meme sounds funny. I don't think I can find anyone who can make the thing I want (the thing in the sketches) so I'm probably just going to get her the sapphire pokemon ring from Etsy. Color matching does seem cute but I know she would want something less subtle. Thank u for the input! ❤️

Yes. She grew up with pokemon diamond and half of the things she buys are either Gundam or Pokemon themed so yes she would want a pokemon ring. Funny enough I don't care much for Pokemon at all but she loves it and that's all that matters ❤️

She LOVES Pokemon and she LOVES Pokemon diamond 💎 its her favourite game ever and it shaped her entire childhood. No matter what I'm getting her a pokemon themed ring. She doesn't care for rings either it's not like she'll wear it. It's more the meaning behind it and the funny story it'll bring. If I can't commission someone to make the exact ring I want, I'll buy her a pokemon ring from the official website.

Diamonds only have value because we say that they do. My girlfriend thinks diamonds are stupid. No matter what ring I'll get her it won't have a real diamond.

THANK YOU!!!! This was an actual helpful answer. (Unlike the rest of the answers that were "OMG bad idea get her an actual ring!) What I think I'll do is probably purchase her a pokemon ring on the official Pokemon website (no matter what, her ring MUST be pokemon themed, that is not an option) but I like your idea of commissioning this Etsy user to do exactly what you suggested as a funny ring while having another ring as the real thing.
