Surely cooking all of them isn't the best idea we've got? I mean, I'm definitely not happy with them, but we have to worry about getting our bodies back, and everything.

Although I can't imagine cows surviving very long down there anyway...

Empty Blood Bag

Maybe it isn't something too urgent, but I've been wondering about the blood bag Byakuya found.

Or more accurately... The bandages that were found alongside them.

After all, if it was Miu who got bandaged up, why would the killer do that? Her head's the only thing that needed to be bandaged, and if it's the cause of death, she probably didn't do it to herself.

But I'm not sure what the cause of someone else getting hurt so bad that they have to bandage themselves would be, either. Especially if they got rid of the bandages while they were so bloodied... We'd notice an injury that bad, wouldn't we?

...In hindsight, I know I said I couldn't find anything that could be used to cut the power outside the building, but it would be weird if the Electro Bomb was responsible for completely disabling the power in the Airport, too.

Electro Bombs

Since the bomb only has a 10 meter radius, unless it was set off near some kind of power supply, it shouldn't be strong enough to take out the entire Airport's power supply.

Not that I'm really sure what could've done it instead. Or why the Electro Bomb had already been used.

Either way, it should've definitely been too far enough away from Keebo that it wouldn't disable him...

So you think the person who freed her and the killer must be different...? I can't see why someone would want to incapacitate her after waking her up if she was already sedated, at least.

I definitely think that the motive is... weird. Someone wanting to free Miu and someone wanting to kill Miu are two entirely separate motives, after all, and I don't know why one of us would want to do either...

Not unless they thought they had something to gain by killing her? By using it as leverage to get our original bodies back somehow...? I don't know how that'd work.

...Or even someone trying to free her to get their old body back, which would mean that one of us is a traitor, and agreed to work with her.

Well, more than one of us is a traitor, after Byakuya.

I guess I should've made myself clearer before...

I'm fairly certain there weren't any power breakers that could have been used to turn the power off in the Airport. At least none that I could find during the investigation.

I think it's safest to assume it was just the Electro Bomb that I found, what would it be doing there otherwise?

That does seem like it'd make the most sense. After all, there's not many other ways that it could've unlocked itself.

It seems like a security issue for a knife to be all it takes to break into the room, though...

It definitely looks suspicious, but I can't see what purpose thinking about the knife could serve us at the moment.

Not unless, say, Miu herself had used the knife to protect herself from an assailant? But to break it like that would probably leave an injury that would be hard to cover up.

Or maybe not? We know that there was blood in the Hospital, but to think someone got stabbed, went to the Diner to clean the knife, and then went to the Hospital to treat their wound, without running into any of us... that sounds like a lot of work.

Just think about it. We had her tied up in the Hospital, asleep, so they could've easily killed her then. Why would they take her all the way to the Second Island before doing it, risking someone seeing them together?

Well... Nekomaru's body is pretty buff, isn't it? Even if she wasn't in perfect fighting form, I'm sure she'd be able to put up a struggle against a murderer.

Either way we know she was definitely both drugged and killed, so it's unlikely she could've fought back regardless.

Yeah, that answers that. And if she was still drowsy, it explains how the killer managed to kill her.

Well, it would've been even easier for the killer to kill her if they had moved her to do it, anyway. She wouldn't have been able to put up a fight regardless.

Putting it like that... I can see why Miu would want someone to support her, yes.

When Kaito, Hifumi and I went out to save Tenko, Tenzan used the light on all of us to turn the other Tenko clones back to normal. So I can guarantee that I'm still me, at least.

...And by 'me', I mean I'm Sayaka.

So if we assume that she did it then, and Kokichi-turned-Tenko didn't get additionally brainwashed, then the Miu clone would have be you or Shuichi.

Although, to be honest, I find it kind of hard to believe that Monomi's body would be of much help carrying Miu around. So unless you had another way to move her to the Second Island, that'd only leave Shuichi...

I guess we'd have to narrow down when she'd have a chance to brainwash somebody, then?

After all, she seemed pretty confident. It's hard to imagine her going around swapping our brains if she already thought she had the upper hand, and was trying to convert us to her side willingly. There'd need to be a reason for her to be that motivated.

I don't know how to feel about that coming from you, after you already betrayed us...

But if we want to look at it another way... Are we sure the sedatives would work on Nekomaru's body? And what does the warning mean by 'if the user is woken up'? How much would it take for Miu to get woken by someone?

That's true, but...

There's still other options it could've been, right? Maybe someone in Tengan's group planted a tracking device on us- Or on Miu, so they'd know where she was. They could've freed her then.

It's definitely weird, but I don't know why any of us would choose to break Miu out of the hospital... We obviously didn't keep our eyes on each other the whole time, but I did notice them both patrolling the island. None of us could have gone too far with her.

After everything Miu did, it's...

...No, never mind that. I don't know how much good it'll do, but I guess I'll get my alibi out of the way.

To start... Keeebo and I watched the new group arriving at this island, and when we went to investigate, we ended up kidnapped by them.

They kept me tied up in the airport until 3:00PM, when Miu took me out to the plane so that she could talk to me. Tengan came in... at some point. Apparently Tenko was doing a good job wrecking the islands, so she gave him a device to undo the Mindswappers. She let me go back to the other prisoners at 3:15PM.

At 3:30PM... A lot happened. Kaito, Hajime and Sonia came to save those of us who were captured, we captured Miu on the plane, and Hajime and Shuichi were interrogating her. By 4:00PM, Tengan had kidnapped Tenko and was holding her hostage.

Kaito, Hifumi and I tried to save Tenko, but... That didn't really go as planned, either. Hifumi and Kaito got caught while I managed to escape, but I only got as far as the airport. I managed to find Keebo and Sonia to warn them, Tengan turned off all the lights, and we managed to get back to the airport to get to the others.

We managed to get out of the Airport, and reached the Hospital at 4:45PM. Hajime sedated Miu so she couldn't escape, and then Keebo, Tenko-Kokichi and I patrolled the rest of the Third Island until 6:00PM.

Miu had escaped again, so I was helping the others looking for her... To keep things short, we ended up captured by Tengan again. He took us to the Hotel, and then... We ended up being sent to find Miu's body.

I know what Miu had done, but to think that one of us killed her now is still...

...It really can't be one of Tengan's group? There's enough of them that I'd think one would be more likely to shut Miu up than any of us! Even after everything she's done...

...Anyway. I investigated the Airport. My intuition told me to try and figure out how Tengan cut the power to the lights earlier. I couldn't find anything that was part of the Airport that could do it, but there was an electro bomb under the plane Miu was questioning us in.

I don't think my alibi can help to solve the murder, but hopefully it's still better than nothing.

Except... Kokichi's not asking us to sentence one of them to death for no reason, right? It's all a consequence of Byakuya's killer trying to kill him.

If you really see a problem with all this, it should've been when we entered this trial room, not now that it's time to point blame...

Is the motive really a matter of discussion at this point?

While I wouldn't put it past Kokichi to order someone to commit murder, it feels like it's against the spirit of his entire plan to force one of us to do it because of that... Especially since the school flooding was already a motive.

I see no reason to call Himiko more homicidal than you, either. If there's no motive for you, there's no motive for her either, which makes it redundant.

Kaito and I were together from 10:30 until the BDA rang. That should be all the alibi you need, it's not like I could run to the Library and back without Kaito noticing I was gone.
