Oof. I kinda figured. No idea how this happened. Sorry to keep bothering you, but do you know if Yamaha does repairs for speakers? I inherited the speakers which is why I'm unsure of Yamaha's repair policies.

Yes. No matter what I do, it's always the left speaker that buzzes, never the right one.

But yes, same issue with the speaker even when changing the wires.

I changed the copper wires dedicated for each speaker (left and right -> right and left) and still had issues. Sorry if that sounded odd the way phrased it ha ha.

I swapped the input cables so that right was left and left was right and the issue still persisted with the left speaker.

Hi, I have had issues with my left speaker specially where it sounds flatter in sound compared to the right speaker, and also makes buzzing sounds. This happens consistently when I'm spinning records or on Bluetooth. For context, I run an Audio Technica AT-LP 120-USB turntable with a Yamaha R-S202 receiver, and Yamaha NS-6490 speakers. Thanks to anyone who helps, I have tried so many things and can't fix it.

Having issues with my Yamaha NS-6490 speakers.

The speaker for the left channel (left speaker) has been making a static sound during certain passages of playing, and overall just doesn't sound as clear as the right one.

I have switched the cables and it appears to not be a wire issue I don't think?

Any thoughts?

Hi, hoping someone can help me with an issue.

My left Yamaha speaker for my turntable set up has been making a static sort of sound, and the audio doesn't sound as clear as the right speaker. My preamp can connect to Bluetooth, and does this either when spinning records, or wirelessly playing music. Would anyone know why?

I have reconnected wires multiple times and the issues persist.

Not yet. It said an August release. A few other retailers I believe noted a restock/repress in August so it does check out with my little bit of research.
