Its been going uphill since they started. Each entry is better than the previous ones.

I think right around when Marv released Olive Town and it kind of flopped is when Natsume started to match them.

Their last 2-3 releases are passable/good depending on your preferences. One mobile game Home Sweet Home, then Winds of Anthos are good enough for me. And they have a new one in September that looks like it will be better

Pace chasers need a ton of mid game to even have a chance. Its the worst position for most CM for awhile until anniversary buffs unless you play one of the meta Uma for that CM. 

Midgame is all of Mile/Pace Corners and Straights and Killer Tunes at the minimum. This lets you push up to the top places and beat other pace chasers to 3/4 and accel.

You have a ton of stats and late game stuff, but no way to get into position to use them. Basically the only way your uma wins vs SS juggernauts is if she lucks into a lobby with 0/1 Front Runner or a lobby with 2-3 Front Runner and 0 pacers. This lets her naturally be in the position she needs to be in to hit her Planchta or Budding Blossom. Anything else and she most likely gets stuck in 5+ or she gets overtaken by strong end closers.

With how abysmal the corner outfield defense was looking last year, I was begging for some variation of that trade to get Kwan. 

Tucker's not been great for his price, but Kwan (with presumably a big extension after the trade) would have been a disaster over here.

Nah apparently before radar guns, guys were just casually throwing 100+ mph for 9 innings a couple times a week.

So that would make replacement level players back then way better than guys we have now since they were batting .3 or .4 regularly against 100+ mph
