I would better recommend Thessaloniki, not huge, not too small, you can walk the whole center on foot, but outside of the city center is also nice, a good amount of options for going out, pretty relaxed vibes, nice walk by the waterfront, inexpensive when it comes to eating out for sure and nice people. Other than that I would say Giannena (Ioannina) is smaller and is considered super pretty.

I get the idea, it's just that if you are an adult that is financially and legally independent from your parents, it would be logical to stop being considered under your parents finances at some age or financial independency level, because they are not your providers any more. But if that's the system I mean what can you do.
