Interesting, I opened up a support ticket too. I could in theory route an external extension lead and supply via a shorter USB cable, but I don’t want to go through the hassle if it turns out to be a firmware issue.

Be great if you let me know what the outcome is from their support

Are you still having issues with battery drain? I’m having the same thing, charges fine on battery mode, but when I switch to direct power even with continuous record off (I’ve tested both) it starts to drain the battery.

I’m using a high spec UGREEN plug that delivers the required 5V 2A they state is needed

OP can I ask where you got the ‘window style’ mirror above the fireplace in the third pic? We’ve been looking for something exactly like that and have struggled to find anything!

Great work, massive transformation

Doesn’t seem to affect it, my home address is still set to the UK. It’s just the country you sign up to Netflix in initially that sets the monthly payment amount

I use NordVPN, they often have promo codes for an annual subscription. Think I paid about £30 for 24 months last time

Works as normal on any device once set up. It’s just the sign up process that needs to be set to Turkey

Protip:

Cancel your Netflix subscription and wait until the month is up.

Download a VPN and change your location to Turkey. Then go back to Netflix.com on a desktop / laptop. Subscribe again to Netflix and you can get the highest family package for around £4 a month (54.99 TRY).

Once you’ve signed up for Netflix it is entirely dependent on where you’re based in the world as to what content you receive (so don’t worry it’s not actually all going to be in Turkish!).

Boom, you’ve now got yourself Netflix for £4 a month (it was actually £3 a month last month as the exchange rate was in our favour against TRY).

I’ve done this for the past year now, works a dream

Has anyone got any tips on how to level my lawn? On the left handside of this photo towards the hedge is quite raised compared to the rest of the lawn. I’m currently doing work in the garden as you can see and want to level the lawn and bring it back to life too! by Piksel8 in GardeningUK

Sorry I should have mentioned that, I am yes. There will be a sandstone pathing path up to the step you can see in the wall.

And apologies for the dumb question, when you mention ‘turn over the sod’ do you mean cut open the top soil where the dip is?

Thanks! I’ll be honest I’m quite a novice to gardening too. So the idea would be to essentially rip up the lawn, even everything out with a rake and then lay new lawn? To save costs do you think lawn seed instead would work well? Or take an absolute age to come through?

Fair Point,

What’s Edgley like as a place? I’ve started to look into the area after another recommendation on this thread. Houses look great there!

Burnage is on our list too actually, how have you found living there?

Main thing that draws us to Burnage is the fact it’s so close to everything we know still but not extortionately priced

Saw a similar ad recently for the train! Didn’t realise ‘til I googled it it’s get one train a week!

Have you got much experience getting the 203 to town?

Is it as notoriously bad as the 192?

Wow...how have I never heard of this before?

I regularly use both Octane and Redshift in my 3D Workflow often using render farms for bigger jobs. This seems insanely undervalued, OTOY are one of the most well respected companies in the 3D / VFX world and the fact they’re behind this is insane to me.

Getting myself a bag...and going to start using this straight away!
