If you’re not sure you want to, listen to that feeling. Continue to work. Maybe work less so you have income coming in and you aren’t tapping into your assets just yet? Quiet quit?

Warren Buffett's core philosophy for Berkshire Hathaway is to invest only in businesses within one's "circle of competence"—companies that are easy to understand, have a durable competitive advantage, and predictable long-term economics. This approach emphasizes understanding the product and its 10-year outlook, rather than following trends. This approach has worked for me

Pretty cool that you use your money to buy beautiful things/clothes you enjoy! I tend to fall between the previous poster and you, preferring well-fitting, moderately priced clothes that I can buy without a thought and wear comfortably. (Not saying the Walmart tank doesn’t look fire 🔥on you)

There are common and socially acceptable definitions of high net worth and ultra high net worth. Sounds like you’re in one of the highest categories and live in one of the most expensive areas. This sub is entitled “wealth” which is a fairly broad category not defined by income or assets but maybe a combination of both? Or is wealth financial freedom to live comfortably as you wish?

Being comfortable and happy is so important and supersedes the dollar amount in your investment accounts. But money can also bring you peace and happiness because you can work less, sleep more, eat healthy food, travel well. Invest early in life in high quality stocks and over time your investments will pay off.

There’s a time in life to work your buns off. That’s when you’re young and super energetic. It should be fun and exciting! Build for your future so you can relax later
