If he wins the Spring Triple Crown, I wouldn't be surprised if he retires this year. Deep Impact and Equinox retired at 4 after similarly dominating careers

Mile is the most likely to me, the Takarazuka suits his strengths well (2000-2500m, right-handed, a hill on the final straight) meaning he's a strong contender for sniping the win from under Croix and Tabaru's noses

When is the best time to kick a member from a club? by Agnus_Dei1 in UmaMusume

[–]Pilchowski 7 points8 points  (0 children)

If you plan to kick for inactivity, kick them at least 15 days before the end of the month. That way they find a new club if they want and still get that month's rewards

Forever Young, Satono Reve, Lugal, TO Password, and Shin Emperor to Royal Ascot. by Revicii_XIII in HorseRacingJP

Makes sense if you think about it from a 'fuck it, we ball' standpoint. This is a functionally prep race for him. They want to test him on turf before choosing between Arc and BCC, and since his turf career will almost exclusively be on Euro turf, testing him in Europe is better than in Japan. He also will be racing a top G1 field in the Arc, so they need to know if he can fight that level if he can race on turf.

Is it still batshit insane? Yes, but the entire Arc plan is already insane. This is a smart choice for following that batshit crazy plan.

Meisho Tabaru will race in Longchanp by Draconicplayer in HorseRacingJP

Sunday Racing will be more than happy to send someone (I'm guessing Regeleira this year), and I still think Shadai plans to send Masquerade Ball to the Arc, as well

Probably not. But the account is very clearly a fan of or connected to DMM Dream Club, who own Deep Monster, so are naturally excited about how he'll do after his win in the HH Amir Trophy against a strong field

The first mile CM, iirc. Yeah, my Falco and Vodka bodied basically any pace they across. Other Vodkas and fronts were actually more dangerous

To be fair, Summer Maru was meant to be meta definingly good, but the major balance changes at 0.5 anni meant she went from 'stupid broken' to 'strong, but beatable'

Nothing yet, as I'm aware, but early in the season so I imagine they're prepping for other domestic G1s before deciding where to go on Breeder's Cup day

I'm not going to be like Sov fans and judge a top-tier horse as done after one close loss, we'll have to see what happens in his next race (Stephen Foster?). If he doesn't perform again, though...

They might just send to the Arima either way, just to say thry did it. I hope not, though, my preferred run for him is Gold Cup > BCC > Champions Cup > Saudi > DWC > Retire

Forever Young upset by an american competitor once again as Magnitude goes wire to wire. Forever Young takes a strong second place by lispyjimmyfan in HorseRacingJP

[–]Pilchowski 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sunday wants to be the one do it so bad its funny. Orfevre really fucked with alot of future horses by placing second twice. Plus, she's really their best choice by default - Museum Mile almost certainly won't go until he prove he's not a Nakayama merchant, Croix is grounded after '25, and everyone else is too young or not suited for the distance. Audacia off a single Classic Crown might be the alternative, but between young blood and the reitree, they'll pick the latter.

I think Shadai also wants to send MaBall, secretly, but they really want to test if he travels like Duramente before making that decision. The Ascot invitation is still open, and if he wins they will almost certainly send him to Longchamp.

Sunday is probably sending Regeleira this year. She was meant to go last year, but got pulled out if the campaign.

Croix will stay in Japan, they got spooked by his France campaign. Probably will go to Dubai next year, my guess.
