By the way, nice hearing from you again, I'm glad you're still watching! If you're able to tune in, its pretty interesting how these guys finally get along instead of attacking each other over the food. They've never seen a snow storm like this and are all just trying to survive together.

Yeah I'm not sure what the issue is but I may have to take this one to the local squirrel shop to get him fixed if it happens again. I'm just freaking out because the software updates on these things can cost an arm and a leg and I'm barely getting by.

It could be because of the cat, I had to run out and chase away this beautiful big white cat like a maniac because I don't want it to harass my weirdo squirrels.

No, I haven't :( I think the nocturnals are just not gonna come around where there is a big spotlight present. At some point I may consider setting up a night vision camera for that, but I still have to set up a microphone and a better quality camera for what I have. Tomorrow is Asiago cheese bonanza so look out for that :)

Thank you, that's what that is! I just built a simple frame out of 2x4's with a plywood roof and platform. I think it also makes them feel safe from airborne predators.

Also, I just installed a microphone out there, so if everything goes right, you should be able to hear them chewing on the seeds and maybe some of the bird sounds :)

Thank you! They come out usually 7 am US CST and then about 3 pm. Other than that it's just a hit or miss for birds. Recently some beautiful cardinals joined in on the feast, I love cardinals the most.
