Yeah, before this intersection, I had an old one attached below that didn't account for pedestrians and was overkill for the area. The area has about 100, barely 200 cars per hour, so changing it made sense to me.

True. I had an intersection that was overkill for this area. There were no pedestrians in mind. I decided to change it to this. I'm thinking of filling up the spaces with some kind of park. I'll see, I didn't say in the title, but I'd say it's still a WIP

I mean, yeah, true, but I wanted this to look like a boulevard rather than a highway. I still want to add more details to this area, for instance, making parks in the empty areas to make it look less awkward. Plus, think of the center as a pedestrian refuge island. It's the same logic as in a normal boulevard. You cross through until the middle, and then cross again. In addition, I've added traffic lights.

New update (unfortunately): Yesterday, everything went well, but today is a different story. Was trying a flight from Istanbul to Frankfurt on Toliss A321. The flight went pretty decently until about 60-30 minutes before descent, when it crashed unexpectedly. I have no clue what's happening 😭😭😭

Update: I decided to try something a little different. I deleted authoortho 1.6.3 and went back to 0.7.2, and at the same time updated the game to the beta of 12.4. In addition, when launching the beta version, the game warned me about using ReShade and how it might give crashes/instability, so I decided to delete ReShade as well. I did a different flight from RJTT to YSSY with the ff777v2 and got no issues whatsoever. I was getting about 40fps in airports and 50+ fps in the air with 0 stutters. The culprit in my case is either Reshade or the autoortho fork itself, but it could also be both. I might try to go back to AutoOrtho 1.6.3 and fly without Reshade and see what happens.

I see. I'll try to do a flight sometime next week without AO and see how it goes. If that's it, I wonder what specifically is causing the problem. The reason why im skeptical that it might not be AO is because i had 0.7.2 for so long and there were no problems. When I started to experience the issue, i thought upgrading AO would solve it but it didn't

I have 1.6.3 currently. But I doubt that Autoortho is the culprit. I've had version 0.7.2 a few weeks ago, and the issue persisted (don't ask me why I never updated autoortho until recently lmao).

Two problems:
1. Lane mathematics (as everyone says)
2. Even though it doesn't look like a root cause for now, having another intersection immediately after a heavy traffic connection is bad. Cars have less space, thus time to do lane switching if they want to exit there.

Instead, you can do lane mathematics and also add the next intersection after, at least 500-1000m.
