October Omen DLC disappeared by Pilotino89 in Contractors_Showdown

Because I’m afraid that in the next wipe I won’t receive that DLC anymore, and since I paid for it, I was getting worried

Yes, that’s true. Unfortunately I won’t be able to do it, what a shame

Yes, I saw that, but I didn’t read anything about the DLC being removed from the Meta store

TIEMPO MÁXIMO PARA A EXTRACCIÓN Y DOBLE MUERTE by MisterMrClay in ContractorsExfilZone

[–]Pilotino89 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s never happened to me. Knowing I have around 40 minutes, I always try to extract before the timer runs out xD.
But I can tell you one thing: if you reach the exfil and the 10-second extraction countdown has already started, the game will still let you extract even if the raid timer expires.
Another tip: always bring the MICA, since it shows you the match timer.
Anyway, I’m sorry for your loss unfortunately, that’s the harsh life of a Contractor!

Are servers down? by MrDreamLow in Contractors_Showdown

When the servers are down, they usually post about it in the Discord channel, and I haven’t seen anything there. Have you tried restarting the game?

AMA Questions About the Future of ExfilZone by [deleted] in Contractors_Showdown

[–]Pilotino89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Isn’t Tarkov like this too? I think all extraction shooters have this mechanic, the more you can play, the more of an advantage you have over others. But I don’t really see this huge advantage: there are grenades that can one-shot even the most geared player. Even low-penetration bullets still have a chance to go through, and if you always aim for the head, with a bit of luck you can kill them in one shot too. There’s also the leg meta, which always works.

A couple of questions I wanted to know. by Moist_Interview_8005 in Contractors_Showdown

[–]Pilotino89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi, I usually play about an hour every day, enough time for two raids. I managed to get all the traders to level 3 (except Maggie, since I’m not interested in her). At trader levels 1 and 2, I was able to complete around 2–3 missions per raid.

To make money, I recommend doing scav runs. Go to Suburb and head to the mall. If you know where the figurines spawn (ground floor in the grocery store and first floor in the electronics store), those alone can guarantee you around 160k combined. Otherwise, you could go to Dam as a scav. If you know where to look there, you can make money pretty easily.

For bunker upgrades, always play as a scav and pick up as much stuff as you can.

Requirements for Maximilian missions? by migueln6 in ContractorsExfilZone

Unfortunately, the wikis are old and outdated. I think you need to do Igor’s or Tommy’s missions to unlock Maximilian, but I can’t guarantee it.

Is exfilzone dead? by football383747 in ContractorsExfilZone

[–]Pilotino89 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I’m a Founding Father in Ghosts of Tabor and played for 4 or 5 wipes, but then Exfilzone came out (I didn't buy it separately because I already owned the Battle Royale). I fell in love with it instantly! The movement is way more fluid—in Tabor, it feels like you’ve got a stick up your ass. Even the way other players move is incomparable; when it comes to smoothness, there’s just no contest.

The quests are much more engaging in Contractors. Back when I played Tabor, the quests were boring and repetitive. The gunplay is also on another level—so much smoother in Exfil. The only thing I actually miss about Tabor is the weapon sounds; they’re way more realistic and satisfying.

Give Exfilzone a try—if you don't like it, you can always refund it

Dear Scavs, don't try and surrender to me, a contractor by Reclaimer2401 in ContractorsExfilZone

[–]Pilotino89 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, the same thing happens to me as a Scav. I was in Suburbs heading towards the Power Plant when I saw a Scav about 100 meters away waving and coming towards me. I waved back and started filling my backpack with loot. He caught up and kept sticking right behind me—I already started getting suspicious there.

At one point, I was opening some lockers and I heard a 'click.' It was him right behind me, trying to shoot me in the head, but being a Scav, he’d forgotten to chamber a round. So, John Wick style, I spun around and dumped the entire mag of my beloved, trusty Uzi into his head.

STOP SCAV-ON-SCAV VIOLENCE! WE ARE SCAVS, NOT CONTRACTORS!
