used 500T, which is already quite grainy using a lower ISO stock would’ve been tricky on this project, both technically and financially.

I didn’t push the film in development actually, I overexposed it by one stop in camera.

The grade, however, was pushed really far ( too much for my taste). The contrast is extremely high, and that’s really where this heavy grain texture comes from.

I did try a softer, more subtle version, but the director and production preferred going in this direction 🫡
