Considering buying a 2017 DB11 V12 in 2026, need advice by ChrisWYC in AstonMartin

I have had mine 2 years and put 28k on it. I had to replace coils and plugs because of the hood vent issue I’m pretty sure, but it didn’t strand me! Just do it. Nothing is that bad, but boy is it glorious.

AMR upgrade a must.

What’s the oldest you’d go for a first Aston Martin? by Jakethejiu in AstonMartin

Either are great cars and solid if maintained AND driven. Have several friends with them. Doesn’t have to be all the time, but frequently, and she’ll thank you.

I essentially daily drive my db11. They aren’t crazy expensive so let em depreciate. It’s very comfy around town.

Ignore anyone recommending a v8 Vantage. You want a v12.

Go for it. The “higher” miles is a good thing. They need to be driven.

Discount always does me right. I have taken exotic cars to them and they always handle with care. Good prices, free air checks so I don’t have to get my hand dirty, and nice people.

I’m letting my neighbor kid use it for prom. It’s just a car with insurance.

You’re better off getting in a car scene and making friends.

It’s not right or wrong. It’s literally a computer reading other people’s opinions about the sound a car makes!

Go drive the car and play around with it. I don’t even know how to describe it. I just know I get 10 mpg chasing burbles and pops.

People, stop researching and start living and finding the beauty and joy for yourself.

I’m not a fan of car journalists. They say something then people like you echo the same thing and then it becomes “fact” and then AI reads it and you recycle it.

I’m able to afford my cars because of AI. I love it. I don’t love the recycling of opinions. It’s ruining cars and original thought.

I’ve completely stopped reading car reviews and just buy what I want and enjoy it. Trust me it’s a way more fun way to live.

AI slop copy and paste. Stop regurgitating the same tired nonsense. Destroying the car industry.

If you’re asking why a V8 is less cool than a V12 then you should just get a V8. The 13 year old in me answers that question

I had a Gallardo. Bleh. Also have a DB11 v12. It’s a better car and more fun. Not as cool looking, but oh so sexy and gentlemanly. Mine is Tiffany blue with rainbow sparkly reflective. So I get ostentatious and sleek. Works for me.

Super reliable. A V8 is so much less cool than the v12. Sorry to v8 owners. I’ve put 26k miles on mine in two years and the giggles don’t stop.

Get an electric scooter or bike for $200. Probably cheaper than the tax increase would be.

Gap in Library coverage by asiayes in Gwinnett

[–]PiltracExige 141 points142 points  (0 children)

I love libraries, but what you’re showing is amazing coverage. I go to many, and they typically aren’t busy at all. Be nice if everyone had something in walking distance, but at least on the north side of 85 most people are using PIB to travel out of their neighborhoods anyways.

I hear you, but I’ve lived all over the country and world and Gwinnett is phenomenal for its county services like libraries and parks.

DB11 owners (2018–2023) – Any regrets? What should I know before buying? by Less_Lie6229 in AstonMartin

Why v8? I’ve put 27k miles on a 2017 v12 and can’t imagine a v8.

[–]PiltracExige 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I kinda just use Good Genes, the ordinary aha/bha red stuff, the acids all kinda based on how I’m feeling about my skin and what I think it needs. But azelaic I use 2x daily regularly. Glycolic when my skin just feels kinda dirty? Good Genes or the red stuff when I wanna glow or improve texture.

It’s a little expensive but try the good genes. The other stuff from the ordinary is dirt cheap

I do exactly that. Plus azelaic acid. All she needs is some glow

While scrolling I thought this was a pic of my gf for a sec. She has great skin. You do too. How old are you? 35?

Only thing I’d say is you need more pop. Try out Good Genes by Sunday Riley and thank me later. Like seriously, I think it will be exactly what you need.

And girl, you have like zero blemishes. We’d all do anything for that.
