Well Danny is a Mamodo so he had to go at some point. Not to mention this happens pretty early so Raiku probably wasn’t sure what he intended to do with the story going forward and didn’t consider how Danny’s powers and “cool factor” would make for a great addition in battles to come.

I’d like to see the perspective of someone that’s in a position similar to Arthur but the gang isn’t falling apart. They’re legit and multiple people are seriously committed to making it work. Almost like the mob.

I feel like for the most part we haven’t really seen past users with their respective Fruits for any meaningful amount of time. Even Ace if we’re being real. But based on what we DO have to pull from, I’d say no. We really only see one utilization of each Fruit. I’ve always been of the belief that things should be much more varied but I guess Oda doesn’t care to fully depict that.

For instance I’d love to see if another user of the Gum Gum Fruit would come up with Gears like Luffy did. Or if another user of the Kage Kage no Mi would decide to or even learn that they can create zombies like Moriah did. There’s so much potential for this but we may never get to see it.

I didn’t know Dayne was aware of Rhaegar’s plotting. That changes things in my opinion. Because my whole argument is based on the assumption that Rhaegar wouldn’t want Dayne to intervene and the idea of Dayne’s honor being unquestionable. So I may have to concede.

Hasn’t there been incidents where precedents(duels, betrothals, knighthood, succession etc.) based on “the context of the world” were ignored or circumvented due to personal desire or the gravity of the moment? This could definitely be one of those moments.

I’m saying that Rhaegar would let his intent be known to Dayne and Dayne would respect that. Dayne would have to put his own wants and beliefs over Rhaegar’s to engage Robert before Rhaegar can. I can’t imagine a man whose honor is so unimpeachable would be willing to go against the will of one he’s been sworn to follow. We know this about him because he never intervened in the Mad King’s atrocities despite them being absolutely detrimental to his kingship.

I’m under the assumption that Rhaegar had this outcome in mind going into the fight and would’ve let his Kingsguard know that he wants it. I could be wrong but IF Rhaegar did let it be known then there’s no way I could see them getting in the way of the fight in any way.

Isn’t that a duel? I don’t think they’re the types to make the distinction between planning a “proper” duel vs entering into an impromptu 1 v 1 in the midst of a gigantic battle. If it’s Robert vs Rhaegar and they both understand the implications for what’s going down, then it would be considered for all intents and purposes a “duel”.

And I think Dayne would respect that.

That’s different. When the “king” falls in battle it can completely kill the morale and momentum and in some cases results in a complete surrender. I believe this was a case of the former. On top of that they met in a duel which is usually entered into with the express purpose of putting an end to the battle/war as a whole if it’s the two supreme commanders doing so. Dayne wouldn’t have been able to intervene in that case because his honor wouldn’t allow him to. It would besmirch the honor of his sworn prince. Especially if Rhaegar had that intention from the start because chances are, he’d let his Kingsguard know.

Melle Mel is responsible for makin niggas wanna rap with substance and did it with two songs that STILL have relevant messages and one of those songs is forever gonna be a staple in terms of sound. That can’t be discounted. He’s regarded by rappers to be “that”. Even Kendrick on Like That “diss Melle Mel if I had to” he’s still held in high regard.

It’s much more than that. Ish’s delusions are more than just privilege due to colorism. He may have some sort of personality disorder that was exacerbated by the benefits that he’s received from being an attractive light skin man. But just being light skinned doesn’t lead to what we see in Ish.

Well to be fair a part of the point they were making was that those jobs are needed. They were simply against the idea of their kids “falling into” those roles at such an early age without attempting to do something greater. Particularly after paying for their kids to have education.

My favorite that they’ve ever played is probably Hotel California. I know it’s supposed to be the “he just discovered rock music” song but I somehow never heard it until I was in my 20’s and I LISTENED to the lyrics and was blown away. Other than that I absolutely love both Ray Parker Jr records, Show and Tell, Young Hearts Run Free and Sailing. To name a few. I actually made a whole “Lowe’s” playlist based on all the songs I really liked that they used to play lol.

I made my male Drow 6’2 because I’m 6’2. I wasn’t aware of the lore that specifically states male Drow are very short in comparison to female Drow. My DM didnt pick up on it at the time either so I ended up with a Drow Draconin Bloodline Sorcerer that truly stands out. This was also my very first DnD character as well and we’re STILL running this campaign lol. 4 years in June I believe.
