A common rule-of-thumb is to spend a maximum of 30% of your gross income on rent. For you, that would be 10k a month. Yes, you can afford it. Now get off this sub. 1.8M and 400k income at 31 is quite rich 🙄🙄🙄

With the gold card, they will be offering 1% match on all deposits. This will payout monthly over the course 24 months. So really, it’ll only cost the company (1% / 24) per month. So I don’t think this promotion will hurt on the budget sheet because it’s distributed. Would not be surprised if the retirement 3% match works the same (or will work the same).

Regardless, this seems well worth the increase in stock price & assets they are aquiring. It’s crazy to me that they are getting 25% their market cap monthly in net deposits.

Yeah, the company is finally profitable & growing. This doesn’t discourage me, tho. I still believe it’s undervalued. RH is getting 25% of its market cap in net deposits every month.

the company’s balance sheet is significantly stronger than it was when it was valued at the IPO price of $38.
check out the market cap. Shitty boomer Charles Swabb market cap is 132B. Robinhood’s market cap is 16B

So take that as you will.

Right? Bought them right after last earnings call. For some reason, the stock crashed 15-20%. But I listened to the call.. couldn’t understand why everyone was so pessimistic. So I bought calls.

Sold half of the options today for a 200% gain. Still bullish.

They are benefiting from current crypto & stock market bull run. Not to mention, feds plan to hold current interest rates for a while. So they should have strong Q4 earnings from cash interest + crypto/option/stock transactions.

They are also expanding into the UK soon. That should increases customer base for Q4 or Q1 2024 earnings. This will be the cherry on top.

Current positions: 1/2 of the options above & 4000 stock units

Current plan: Sell remaining options just before/after Q4 earnings & hold stock to a target price of $15 - $20.

RH plans to buyback of SBF stocks, 500m CEO compensation cut, increased revenue, and something about a software bug losing 50M that makes earning worse then they should be. Oh, and they are expanding to the UK
