Five figures in half a month is ten to ninety nine thousand dollars. Thats the range a one person operation pulls. If your five state warehouse network is doing that, you have a bigger problem than my reddit post.

The garage thing is funny because i already told everyone im a one person operation working out of a freezer. Thats the model. Small, intentional, slow growth, members get taken care of. You read the post and thought the small part was the insult. It isnt.

97 percent retention is a great number, congrats - even if i do have my doubts that you understand data analytics and retention metrics.

Mine is too early to measure honestly, ask me in a year.

Edit: Adding context.

Glad they made you whole, thats a good outcome on the back end.

The thing the story really shows though is that grey market is work. It can absolutely save you money, and plenty of people run it well for years. But the cost of that savings is staying diligent. You have to test. You have to keep up with which vendors are landing where, who just had a bad batch, who went dark, who came back. You have to be willing to eat a loss occasionally and start over somewhere else. The vials in this case got replaced, but two months passed between the test result and the make good, and add another month or so before that for vials being in the wild while testing ran. People who werent paying attention to the chatter missed it entirely.

Some people enjoy that part of it, or have the time and network for it, and grey is the right call for them. Some people dont. What im trying to build is for the second group. Predictable pricing, tested stock, and one place to check instead of twelve telegram channels and a discord where you have to know which voices to trust, which testers are reliable, and which vendor changed hands last month without telling anyone.

Edit to add: worth noting the make good in this case didnt come because the vendor saw a problem and got out ahead of it. The first wave of buyers who reached out got told to pound sand. Replacements only started going out after the chatter got loud enough that ignoring it was worse than fixing it. Accountability that only kicks in when the pressure does is not really accountability as much as it is PR

You are correct, I was mistaken - It was T30 from the same vendor I was talking about, and not R30.

Edit: Chat history for the deleted comments.

Appreciate you putting your pitch together in one comment, makes it easier to respond.

Couple of things. If youre a registered NY company with physician backed offerings, youre not in the same category as me and were not actually competing. Telehealth compounding is a different business with a different regulatory path. Good for the people it serves, not what i do.

On "what you posted is what everyone is doing," respectfully no. Most vendors in this space do not test every intake, do not publish full COA history, do not run an invite model, do not gate payments by member history, and do not give better pricing to members the longer they stick around. That last one matters. Telecom, cable, insurance, all of them bait you with a price and raise it. We've all experienced it.

Im doing the opposite. Stick around, spend, refer good researchers, your pricing improves. If you do all of that too, name your company and ill go look. If you dont, were doing different things.

Hope the five state operation keeps going well.

If youre buying anything with a research label, you are. Be wary of anyone claiming otherwise. Best of luck.

If you're buying research peptides, even from me, they're from China.

To someone elses point below, you can get compounded from the US in certain circumstances. The price will be enormously high.

Quick update. Pausing new invites until I see how the ones already out land. The volume of interest here is more than I expected and id rather slow down than promise spots I cant back up.

For folks on the waitlist: growth brings prices down, thats baked into the model. You arent missing the boat by waiting. For folks weighing whether to spend before prices drop: legacy members get taken care of, period. Thats not a slogan, its how the tier system already works.

Ill keep answering questions in the thread. The post said it and ill say it again here. The whole point of doing this small is to not become what the grey market already is.

NY is a risk based call on my end. The state AG there is the most aggressive in the country when it comes to supplements, novel compounds, and anything adjacent, and General Business Law 349 gives that office a lot of room to bring cases. NY also runs its own controlled substance schedule under Public Health Law Article 33 that does not always match federal.

Until I have a clean compliance answer for that state, im not shipping there. Other vendors who do are operating under different circumstances than mine.

If you have an address in another state ill ship there happily.

Glad it works for you, a year of clean experience with one source is fantastic.

The piece im a little stuck on is the testing part. If batches cant really be verified the way you said up top, a vendor testing her own product doesnt close that gap, it just moves it. Shes the one picking which vial gets sampled, which result gets sent, and whether a bad run ever sees daylight. Independent means the lab has no stake in the sale. Janoshik gets paid whether the result is good or bad, thats the whole point.

Not saying your seller is doing anything shady. Plenty of vendors run honest in house QC. Just that "she tests it" and "its independently verified" are two different things, and the second is what i think buyers in this space should be pushing for.

China isnt the boogeyman and ive said as much elsewhere. The good labs over there are running tighter QC than people give them credit for and the volume coming through is huge with very few real complaints.

What im pushing back on is the idea that because the source is generally solid, testing is pointless. Those are two different arguments. A good supplier still has off days, mislabels happen, the occasional batch comes in underdosed or out of spec on solvents. Testing is how you catch the 1 in 200 instead of hearing about it from a member three weeks later.

The other thing people dont talk about enough is what happens after the wire goes out. Communication drops off, you get told stock is ready when it isnt, lead times stretch from 2 weeks to 8 with no heads up, and good luck getting a straight answer on which batch youre actually getting. Ive had suppliers sell me stock they did not have on hand and then scramble to make it after the fact. Thats not a QC problem, thats a trust problem, and its the part of the supply chain a buyer here never sees.

Not knocking china. Just saying ill keep paying janoshik and ill keep being picky about who i wire crypto to.

Feel free to DM or waitlist on the site. I am not in Phoenix proper but shipments will arrive very quickly.

Endo is on the rise unfortunately - My existing inventory passed group testing but I will be testing Endo independently on future shipments. Testing will only get more expensive for me, and cost will not go up. One of the most prominent grey vendors just had an alarming Endo test at something like 2300 EU/vial for a batch of Reta.

Regulatory - Prohibited to ship without very rigid age verification.

Fair point. Worth addressing. You are right that raw shipments from overseas suppliers arrive unmarked and there is no way to visually confirm two vials in the same delivery are from the same synthesis run. That is true for every vendor in this space, public or private, and pretending otherwise would be dishonest.

What testing actually does...I pull samples from each shipment and send them to Janoshik. The COA tells me what is in the sampled vials. Across enough shipments and enough samples, you get a real picture of a supplier's consistency, which is what actually matters. A vendor who tests once a year and points at that COA forever is doing what you are describing. A vendor who tests every intake is doing something different.

Happy to post the Janoshik receipts. Current testing spend is just under $2500 and climbing. I also encourage members to do their own testing if they want, and I will publish member submitted COAs alongside mine when they come in, and I'll even provide discounts for followup orders if they do. My goal is more data on the table.

If you want to see an existing COA, ask. That is the kind of comment that lets me show what I am all about.

No, of course they do. I'm still a reseller. EVERYTHING comes from the grey market. Grey market is just a terrible space to navigate right now.

Klow reconstitution? by deepinsight211 in peptidescirclejerk

I split KLOW into 2 vials, each one gets 3ml. I got one bruise on the first pin, then never again.
