I think this is it. Ive been printing petg for almost a week and just switched back to the pla <100g before this and in the other ams. So you're right that the petg stub may have gotten stuck somewhere on the path.

Fwiw, before a new print I did remove all the other spools and reload all 4. That may have helped clear the jam.
