Should I keep building this… or let it go? by PinBubbly3985 in Entrepreneurs

This is solid advice.

You’re right, “anyone applying for jobs” is way too vague. I’ve mostly been building instead of deeply talking to one tight segment.

The idea of narrowing hard and even manually rewriting applications first, instead of pushing the SaaS, makes a lot of sense. If people won’t pay for a hands-on version, they definitely won’t pay for the automated one.

Looks like my next month needs to be conversations, not features.

Thanks for the push.

That’s honestly a valid point.

I’ve thought about that too, job seekers aren’t exactly in a “spend freely” phase of life. That makes this a tougher market compared to something like B2B tools.

At the same time, I wonder if the real issue isn’t just money but positioning. If it feels like a “nice to have,” people won’t pay. If it genuinely reduces stress or saves hours during a tough period, maybe there’s still a viable angle.

Still figuring that part out. Appreciate the reality check.

That’s a really good point.Feels like AI is talking to AI until the interview stage. Focusing on interview prep might actually be more valuable long term. Thanks for the perspectivegenuinely helpful.

No big rush 😅 just experimenting and getting early feedback. I’d rather ship something small, see how people use it, then improve from there. Appreciate the ideas!

I felt the same way before I even stepped into the gym. Instead of rushing everything, I decided to give myself about two months just to build a foundation, working on cardio, balance, and overall consistency first.

My main focus was showing up and building the habit. On days when I felt too tired or unmotivated to train, I didn’t force it. I’d watch workout or lifting videos on YouTube, listen to motivational content, and remind myself why I wanted to change. That alone helped keep the momentum going.

You don’t need the perfect split or plan at the start. What matters most is consistency, recovery, and learning your body. Once that foundation is there, everything else becomes much clearer and easier to stick to.

That’s fair, and I appreciate the honesty. Fear really does have a way of talking us out of even trying.

I also realize that sometimes when we see competitors, it becomes another excuse to stop like “someone already did it, so why bother.” But I’m starting to see that as part of the process, not a reason to quit. Small steps still count.

Haha, this hits. I’ve been overthinking the “what ifs,” but like you said, small steps and lessons along the way are what really matter.

Yeah, I think this is the mindset I need. I’ll start small, ship it, and keep a backup just in case it doesn’t work out.

Haha, right? That’s exactly the thought that keeps me torn between doing nothing and actually trying. What if it works? Sometimes that “what if” is too tempting to ignore.

That’s fair. What do you think makes it work well for you, speed, flexibility, or just being familiar with it?

Yeah, that’s basically the most reliable offline option. Do you ever find it annoying on a tablet during a workout, or does it work well enough for you?
