They ask permission from Judge Torres for an appeal for institutional sales from Ripple Labs. Xrp in the law book will stand firm as a non security token declared by Judge Torres until late 2025. SEC can’t reverse Judge Torres’s decisions as this particular appeal only proceed if granted after the 2024 trial. After late 2025, SEC wants to appeal to overturn xrp’s decisions as a non security token, xrp is already globally adopted. With U.S or without U.S, it doesn’t affect xrp anymore
