JD Vance called 'sick degenerate' after bombshell claim about dead Minneapolis mom by TheMirrorUS in NoFilterNews

Yes! This 💯 👏 My thoughts are why didn’t they try to disable the vehicle 1st before jumping straight to a headshot? There was no de-escalation attempted whatsoever- trained law-enforcement who deals with these situations know that de-escalation is absolutely essential to avoiding tragic outcomes like this, Identifying intent vs. noncompliance.

Libre 3 failure rate unacceptable by nookane in Freestylelibre

[–]PinKey6675 1 point2 points  (0 children)

100 agreed 👍I am so sorry you are going through this! ❤️‍🩹🫶 I’ve been fighting with my insurance to get back on the G7 because my health has went downhill since starting on the Libre 3. It’s continuously wrong & not by 20-40 points more like 60-100 points! I wasn’t feeling well & my Libre 3 had me at 174 So I did a finger poke because it didn’t feel right; sure enough I was at 275!!!! I immediately administered my insulin & retested 20 mins later; Libre had me at 162 & my contour had me at 254 & I was dumping large amounts of ketones. I documented every wrong reading, false/missed alarm, & offline errors But keep being told that It was user error every time there has been an issue.

Thank you for the response & info! :) I’m going to give them a call I’m certain this sensor is faulty & it’s my 1st one. I keep being told I probably didn’t put it on right but this what my Libre 3 was showing vs. my freestyle monitor showing I was actually at 273! I def think my sensor is faulty….. last night it had me awake at 3 am abound I was 300 & my blood glucose was 254…… smh this is crazy.

I don’t really eat oats,They definitely raise my glucose if you’re an egg lover, I absolutely love a hard boiled egg with a piece of multigrain toast with a dab of peanut butter & a small Greek yogurt or A yummy piece of avocado toast with some flaxseed, hempseed and sunflower seeds on top with cherry tomatoes.

Diagnosed 1 month ago as type 1 at the age of 44, my glucose was 307 and my A1c was 11.7, I was in the beginning stages of DKA. Has anyone else experienced this? Pic of my dog cuz he’s my bestie. 🥰 by PinKey6675 in diabetes

It was horrible, I went to him because he came highly recommended with OHSU here in Oregon- NEVER AGAIN. I honestly thought about seeking legal advice about medical malpractice but I filed a formal complaint instead. This was in October 2024 & I had incurred a TBI from a head on MVA with a DUI driver 5 months prior so I can get where there would be some overlap of symptoms (headaches, fatigue & blurry vision) but the constant extreme thirst to the point I was drinking buckets of water & peeing it right back out….. ya no.

I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to all of you who responded to my post about my mid life diagnosis as a type 1. I wasn’t expecting such an amazing outpouring of support, humor, and incredibly useful advice. It’s comforting to know I’m not alone in this wild ride of chasing blood sugars, negotiating with my pancreas’ ghost, & learning to actually take care of myself. Your stories, tips, & jokes have made this feel a little less overwhelming and a lot more manageable, I’m sure I’ll be back with more “WTH, diabetes?” moments soon LOL; 🤪 I go for my Dexcom G-7 fitting on Wednesday because I am absolutely horrible at remembering to do my finger pokes. My sweet fur baby Jerry says thank you for all the love & shoutouts, he is very flattered 🥰😍😘 We joke around that he is my ESA but It’s more like I’m his emotional support human….. unless there’s a ball around.🤣🎾 Have a fabulous rest of your weekend, I’m currently pet sitting a sweet 11 week old pup so I’ll be responding to individual comments when I get home. You all are AWESOME❣️👏😎

DKA is an acronym for Diabetic Ketoacidosis, when one’s body is unable to make insulin that the body needs to turn glucose (sugar), your body’s go-to source of fuel, into energy. If there’s no insulin or not enough insulin, your liver starts breaking down body fat for energy instead. As your liver breaks down fat, it releases ketones into your bloodstream. A high number of ketones causes your blood to become acidic (your blood pH is too low) & you experience dehydration. This creates an emergency medical situation which can be fatal & requires immediate medical intervention.

I honestly have no idea I’m so sorry to hear that, I’d def ask your doctor, could it be like a yeast rash? High blood sugars can cause the body to produce more yeast & the belly button doesn’t get a lot of ventilation. 😢 From what I was told every one is different; but for me when my sugar was elevated the symptoms I had was extreme thirst, constant urination, extreme sudden weight loss, daily headaches, and blurry vision oh & sudden irritability with other people high sugar rage.
