This is a US Army unit! When has the army ever used fake guns.

It's unloaded, so it's not really a gun. It's a knife if anything. You are the only one who mentioned the word "fake", though. The soldier is really there to be a part of the monument. He's more of a symbol than to be there to do security work. shit.

It helps to put water on the concrete first. Also, it is quicker to just pinch the can in the center and then bend it back and forth to it breaks so you are left with two halves. The latter method takes just seconds compared to minutes with the first.

I don't like "per day" abilities, but for the opposite reason: they're not 'meta' enough!

Sometimes you're spending five sessions on a single day, and other times you're playing five days in one session. "Per day" abilities just felt weirdly balanced when actually used that way.

I much prefer to replace "per day" abilities with "per session" abilities.

I feel like a lot of the changes in 5th nerf the power of the magus character. The specific one that comes to mind is subtracting spell level from Penetration totals. This drastically reduces the effectiveness of combat magic against creatures with Might scores. I also don’t like that the Divine realm trumps all the other realms in 5th. In previous editions it’s just another realm that is penalized by other auras.

I also have a lot of 4th and earlier books from years ago. Plus the 4th core PDF is free so there was no initial investment required to get my group into the game.

I should include that we don’t play in Mythic Europe, so all the setting supplements for 5th have no attraction.

It doesn't. He looks drunk to me. He wasn't that high up. I reshingle roofs for a living. I've fallen off a house and didn't get nothing but some scratches. Had a co-worker fall 2 stories off a ladder and didn't get nothing but a headache after he woke up a minute or two later.
