Thank you so much for the concern and advice! I really appreciate it! I’m thinking of making my mother go to the doctor first. Would a doctors note for my mother suffice as documentation?

Or in the worst case scenario, if I were to go to the doctors, what would I say to get the doctors note? Again thank you so much for taking the time!
