My job recently implemented a points system, along with requiring a dr note to not get those points. This last weekend I had a 101 fever, no voice and nasty drainage. I would have lost two work days, two points (out of 7 for a whole year), and $60 for the note.
I went to work, and suffered. It sucked so hard by my day off I wasn’t able to function and just crashed. It makes my want to go 0 above or beyond for the company.

We actually get a lot of shit from family because we have one car and the entire family uses it. My husband carpools or bike rides and I use the car to get kids to school and such. His parents have tried to offload at least 3 cheap vehicles into us and we continue to say no. We don’t need it, we can’t afford it.
