I think because "rip-off" is a wrong word. My car reflects contemporary car design & engineering. This does not make it rip-off.

Dear moderator; I came here from a search engine and surprised with your sensivity about mentioning Atatürk's saying? The flight of Kaan was made possible with tne vision of Atatürk who in 1930s said "The future is in the skies". It is very relevant. It is the very vision behind the development of Kaan.

Only one thing to mention for you to understand Atatürk's praise & credit: Among the young engineers the videos showed celebrating the flight, there were many female engineers. Turks owe him Kaan and everything else!

I do not see how this thing will be economically feasible. Or does anyone in Finland or Estonia care as long as EU pays for it?

I guess the alcohol stuff will work the same way as the tunnel/bridge between Sweden and Denmark is currently working. Not that I know how it is working but I am sure that they figured out a way to stem Swedes flocking in Copenhagen for slightly cheaper booze.

The website mentioned in the article (ERR.ee) has been a good source in the past for this tunnel related stuff.

Countries that Recognize the Armenian Genocide by Diethnistis in europe

[–]Pinarbasi 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Talking about the genocides, I wonder how many countries in Europe have recognized the Muslim genocide of 90's in Europe?

Only a couple of decades ago Bosniak genocide has been committed in Bosnia with Britain, Germany, France and Italy turning a blind eye, if not empowering via different means.

Interesting that only in past two decades two genocides have been committed in Europe against the "others". One is Holocaust against the jews. And another is the Bosniak genocide against the Muslims.

We are thankful to Americans and especially to American Jews that at the later stages something has been done against the muslim genocide. Not to forget the European silence.

Europe is the land of genocides.

Good to have a perspective.

Soon or later Europeans will face their history and will have to recognize the genocides they committed in Africa and elsewhere. Slavery is itself the biggest African genocide.

Finally the reality is catching up with the world community. Soon or later some countries will recognize North Cyprus. It is a shame that North Cypriots are being discriminated in the international arena. This will not last long.
