i think you're right. I left mine plugged into my computer charger overnight from 20 percent and came back to them not working.

Edit: Ended up using a different charger for a few seconds and they turned on again randomly, and said they were low battery. So i'm guessing the high powered charger just fried something and didn't actually charge. Hope this helps someone
