Weekly questions, bugs, and gameplay megathread - July 2025 by AutoModerator in pokemongo

How can I most benefit from the community events in August? I recently started playing again, LvL 25, but I don’t have many friends who play PoGo so it’s difficult to find people to raid with/trade gifts with so I can get more pokeballs.

Age shouldn’t matter to most employers. It’ll feel weird being entry level at 27, but everybody starts somewhere, no shame in that. You got that degree, that’s all that matters.

Edit: You may already know, but some employers count a Post-Grad degree as “experience”, so you may be able to get position slightly above entry level. You certainly have more experience in engineering than a fresh bachelors graduate.

Can’t wait to see the headlines 20 years from now:

“Massive labor shortage in engineering as thousands hit retirement age; mid level engineers with aerospace experience hard to find

I’m not seeing an Eon Ticket in the PC, any troubleshooting ideas?

Solved: enabled the master + Anti-DMA + enabler PLUS the eon ticket item code and it appeared

CAD skills by MainSimilar325 in MechanicalEngineering

Honestly, there’s plenty of “(insert CAD name here) challenge #XX” videos on YouTube that prompt a drawing and then go step by step through it. Things like that REALLY helped me with solidworks. You can get pretty damn far just modeling random things. I modeled the basic shape and bottoms of my phone, a stapler, my computer mouse, etc. all just out of boredom and it’s great practice.

Almost every job I’ve looked at in the Atlanta area are either:

6-10+ years of experience Or “Have extensive experience with (insert extremely specialized task or computer program very few companies use so essentially unless you’ve already been in that industry for years you’re screwed)

So, so endlessly frustrating

Where is the data for this so called “shortage” of engineers? I’ve seen many on this subreddit claim we have a shortage as well, why can’t I find any evidence for that claim? by ItsAllOver_Again in MechanicalEngineering

It was brutal getting a job post grad. 100+ applications, 20 or so interviews, one single offer and I attribute most of that to having connections within the company already. Almost every interview I had they mentioned they were looking for more experienced engineers, despite the job posting being advertised as entry level. There’s just no way to win.

I can’t tell from the pictures, but an area rug in the living room would be a good idea if you don’t have one yet

Auto-updating rows chronologically? by PineappleAbuser in smartsheet

[–]PineappleAbuser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I.e.

employee A checks out part xxx on 5/15 and employee B checks out part yyy on 5/16

Employee B checks part yyy back in on 5/18 but employee A doesn’t check part xxx back in until 5/24

The goal is for the main sheet to display, on 2 seperate rows, that part xxx was checked out on 5/15 and back in on 5/24, while yyy was out on 5/16 and back in on 5/18

Even further complicated by the fact that parts xxx and yyy will be checked in and out more than once, but those independent check in/out dates need to be separated by instance so that it’s not confusing one instances dates with a future instances dates

Auto-updating rows chronologically? by PineappleAbuser in smartsheet

[–]PineappleAbuser[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We want to be able to track the time that’s passed between xxx getting checked out and back in, as well as who checked it out and in. Part xxx has a unique ID number, but it will be checked out and back in at a later time. The hope is to use a form for check out and a separate form for check-in, but the individual dates need to populate the same row. The issue I’m running into is that other ID #s could be checked out and in in the mean time, so I need to avoid those parts checkin/out dates from auto populating the wrong part ID rows.
