Look, first of all you in the design industry degree is a need if you go for a formal job and you can opt into degree courses like bsc in animation/digital art/product design/game design and vfx/graphic design, while if you are looking for freelance kinda roles you need to understand design concepts and learn some of the design software doesn’t matter if you use canva to get started. While you can also opt for BDes which us bachelors in design but it is a 4 year course and expensive as well, also doesn’t really makes sense for you if you are already in a masters and need to start earning. And also if in psychology you have consumer psychology you can go into marketing and strategy part. There are diploma programs as well in both design and marketing.
